My Mounjaro journey with My Fitness Pal

I recently started using My Fitness Pal to help document my journey with Mounjaro. I am a type 2 diabetic and need some accountability and am pleased with my results as of today. Three weeks in and so far I am winning with this apps help.

I’ve been on Mounjaro for 7 weeks. I’ve lost 16lbs. It is an aid. I’ve learnt that I have to still track calories, prioritise protein and absolutely ensure I am eating a balanced diet. Yes it reduces hunger but it doesn’t eliminate it (if it is working well). Yes it does help with you feeling fuller after less food but I’m using this to really learn portion control. I want Mounjaro to help me to readjust my relationship with food. So far so good another 50lbs to go.
Just wanted to say it’s not magic it’s an aid to help and if you don’t learn to change when you come off it it’s likely all the weight will come back on.

I’m diabetic and just started with Mounjaro 7/4. Finding it hard to consume the number of calories the app assigned and my blood sugars are too high. Also have a hypothyroid & PCOS. Aiming at improving my A1C, overall health/fitness. Have lost one pound as of today.

I’ve been taking Mounjaro for 2 months now after being on Ozempic for 8 months. I’ve lost approximately 14 kgs but am struggling to get a rhythm where I lose a decent amount of weight. Been using my fitness pal for 3 weeks now tracking what I eat and would love some buddies on a similar journey to help keep me accountable and share tips with. 😊
