    Machka,

I guess its not all about the amount of exercise, but also about the way it changes how food gets processed. How glycogen gets triggered, and how our brain responds to that. Its a whole thing.🙃. Once I get to a weight that feels right, I will go on more of a maintenance dose not ever week, but ever 2 weeks. I have learned more this particular journey, than any other thing. What I like, what fuels, what meals to stay away from, that sort of thing. Its been life-changing.👍🏼😁

    Lisa,

So glad Skyrizi is working for you! Youngest son is done with his hospital infusions and now has the injection pens that he will start in 4 weeks. He said he still has meals and afterwards he's like, well never eating that again, let me go die in the bathroom. So its still trial and error with what he eats. Now my bag of real bacon bits for his white stick rice was done in a couple days. He was eating them like little chips, the nut.

My poor son was horribly delayed on his train again. We had to take an Uber home. The tracks don't like the heat. Last week the journey from London took 4 hours. :-()

I am a bit discombobulated because Saga are releasing the excursions this Thursday at 9 am. It'll be a bit of a rush as John is going out for lunch with his cricket friend. The main one we want is an early free tour of Cadiz, so we can spend the rest of the day just independently wandering. Then the hikes and a RIB. Then everything else. Ooooh! They normally wait until a bit nearer the cruise, but here we go.

I had a quick chat with DDIL. Edie is going camping with the school at the weekend. The parents are going to another wedding. DDIL's parents are going to stay over to babysit Max and Bea. Sadly, DDIL's father has had a major skin cancer operation on his face, plus in a few other places. And very recently a prostate cancer operation. I saw a photo of his face. Big job. I expect seeing the kids will take his mind off things, but he is very tired. He is 80 in December. So both parents have a father to worry about.

I will try to send a card over to him. But also v hard on the wife. Getting old is not for wimps.

    Love Heather UK xxxxxxxx

😀🌞 Super hot today. I walked very early so I'd have time to water when I got home. My new hose arrived mid afternoon so I hooked it up and watered the little trees on that side of the house. The hose is wonderful and I'm delighted so I'm glad I bought it.

🌞 My dog walking friend first said she couldn't walk this afternoon, then said she could, then 30 minutes before we were scheduled to leave, she decided that it was too hot so she'd stay home. Why do I keep walking with her? Because the dogs love her and they are my top consideration.

😀 I am reading "The Crow Trap", the first book in the series that inspired the show "Vera" on Brit Box.. The book is great but the TV version has understandably made significant changes. There are 11 books in the series so I have a lot to look forward to.

😥 Debbie, so sorry about your grandma cat.
