Premium Feature: Timestamps

Keeping track of when you eat can help you gain insight into the impact a particular food, meal, or your favorite snack has on your overall energy, workouts, sleep, and more. MyFitnessPal Premium offers app users the ability to track the timing of the foods they eat using food timestamps.

To get started using food timestamps, go to the more or menu tab, tap settings, diary settings.

Then toggle on Show Food Timestamps. Once enabled, you’ll see the feature when you log your next meal.

On the add food page, a time option will show at the closest current time. If you tap time on iOS, you can adjust the time depending on when you ate the item. After logging the item, a time will display just above the entry logged. Multiple items that are logged with the same time will be grouped together.

Adding or editing a timestamp is also easy. Just tap on the timestamp in your diary and update the time as needed, or tap current time.
