Hey, I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for post workout snacks that were:
vegetarian
milk-free
gluten free
soy free

haha so it's hard for me to find things to eat.. Any suggestions?

(oh and I'm allergic to bananas too so no pb+banana combo for me :[ )

Have you ever used a protein powder? There is one made from Peas that is vegan, gluten-free, and soy free that you could try. The name of it escapes me at the moment, but you can Google Pea Protein.

Edit: I think it's Olympic Labs...

    What about a PB&Fluff Sandwich? :)
  • No I've never used a protein powder before, I'll have to look into that one you suggested!
They make gluten free oatmeal??? I love oatmeal but it always makes me sick, I'll have to look for it next time I go to the store.
and apple and peanut butter sounds perfect, can't think I didn't think of doing that for my post workout snack!
    thanks everyone!

whey isolate powder. It is lactose free/soy free/gluten free.

There is also almond butter and carrots.

Peanut Butter and celery sticks works too. I second the Peanut Butter and apple suggestion. Bean dip and veggies or rice crackers/cakes would work too I think.

I can't have gluten either, and I eat oatmeal for snacks once a week or so. Google gluten free oatmeal for a bunch of different brands and where to buy them...I dont wanna seem like Im advertising one =p

Whey is a milk derivative, and she needs it milk-free.
