It was lovely having John cook dinner. I always enjoy his chicken stew. Like a warm hug.
I also gave myself a day off writing! So I've done nothing. Hooray! I had two long phone chats with G and L, and read half of the interior design book that I'm giving to Edie with her Crocs and gibbitz. It's called 'All things considered '. Fabulous photos of interiors, but also fun to read about apartments in Paris, Mexico City, Antwerp, Chelsea etc etc. It's all a bit 'more is more' but it will be fun to discuss it with Edie. I also did lots of Spanish, as usual. I will v soon be up to a one year streak!!! Right now I'm learning how to complain and get refunds, discounts and exchanges. V useful!!!
It's been raining all day, and may do so tomorrow. Most likely no cricket for John.

Was at the eye MD for over 2 hrs. Didn’t think it would take that long. Had to stop at WalMart to get C mushrooms. So by the time I got home, had to start on J’s dinner. I did ask her to clean the one pan in the sink and put away the leftovers. I washed almost everything else. See, I like to clean as I go along. I know that she doesn’t
Rita – you sure made the rounds today! You must have gotten in al ot of steps
Don’t think I can take Ganon for a walk tonight. By the time I got home and dinner made, we need to leave in a few for bowling and it’ll be too dark when we get home.
Allie – did you call the MD about that vomiting? That’s concerning
Gotta get ready for bowling. Say a prayer for me….looks like I’m on Vince’s team. He’s just so competitive and I’m not competitive at all

You really need to talk to a doctor right away.
My husband's heart attack presented as nausea and vomiting.
With your heart issues you need to be checked.

Carol - I hope you get some answers today.
Machka - I enjoyed being a model for Kaitlyn a few times when she was in school.
Rita - I’ve never been to an air race it sounds fun and nerve wracking.
Allie - I hope you contact the doctor.
Had a nice chat with my brother tonight. I’m looking forward to seeing him. 2 weeks from Sunday.
Not a lot to say.

Allie, call doctor, or head to ER!

Hello, my friends;
Wishing you a fantastic night's sleep.
Carol, I hope all went well with the endoscopy.
Allie, you need to be admitted to the hospital. I am worried. You haven't been able to eat or keep anything down for days. Monitor your blood glucose level.
Rebecca, your grands are adorable.
Tracey, I love the pic of you and your granddaughters. If you feel comfortable driving on your own, go for it!
I want to do a Road Trip with my friend and my dog.

I’ve been flat out this week again, but still managing to get my exercise etc fitted in. I skimmed through posts. Loving all the pics etc. I took this photo yesterday of our yuca flowering after our exceptionally hot (for us) weather this summer. Our autumn has arrived early and I wanted to get it before the flowers drop.
I have flower arranging after lunch today and card making tomorrow after lunch.
Allie: I’m worried about you, too. Please listen to what others have said. (((Hugs)))

Tracey - so exciting you'll be meeting up with your brother in a couple weeks.
Kylia - neat photos. I think I could go for one of those recliners on wheels, lol.
Allie - love the photos of SMiles and Delia. Does Tracy know the gender of the new little one?
Terri - hope you feel better.
Debbie - good job clearing out some items for that garage sale.

Terri love the yucca plant. My mom had one in her yard for 60 years!
Allie so happy you are doing better. My worry for you was dehydration that can be hard on your kidneys. I know it is a pain to contact the doctor about one more thing. They would rather know and help you get on top of things sooner than later to keep you out of the hospital. Hopefully you have things available to up your hydration. It sounds like you have lost the weight you needed to lose. Congratulations!
Have you talked to your doctors about your weight loss drug and the side effects from being on it long term? It would be one less drug for you to take. Again I am surprised that after the kidney transplant they did not have you talk to a nutritionist who specializes in kidney diets.

Anatomy scan for those who were wondering. I looked it up this morning b/c I didn't know what it was.
An anatomy scan is a detailed ultrasound performed around 18-22 weeks of pregnancy to thoroughly examine the baby's internal organs, body structure, and growth. A skilled sonographer uses the scan to evaluate the baby's head, heart, spine, limbs, brain, and other organs to check for any potential structural abnormalities, while also assessing the placenta, amniotic fluid, and the mother's cervix and uterus.
Yesterday worked 10 AM to 1 pm at visitor center. No one came in until 12:40 when 1 group of 6 and 1 group of 2 came in. Sigh….. Got home, had dinner, DH made chicken thighs and mac and cheese. The cheese was "fake" cheese which I found out I can't eat any more. "real" cheese doesn't bother me. During the results of the cheese, my uncle called. Talked to him for over 1.5 hours! By then it was 3:30pm. did dishes, dealt with campers, took Lucy for outside training and energy release, then crashed for the evening watching TV and playing games on my ipad. This is a routine day for me right now. Sorry, no astronauts or any other famous people at VC yesterday! 😁
Thought for today:
Why don’t elephants use computers?
They’re scared of the mouse!

I've arranged to meet up with G next week in Chichester. She was mooting the idea of coming all the way over to Brighton to see me, but i think that's too much for her. Plus, she has carers until 10.30. So Chichester is much nearer to her and she can get there on her buses. For me, it's much more doable than Portsmouth. Less than 50 minutes on the train. We are going to meet at the Pallant House Gallery, which has a lovely restaurant. You can eat outside if it's clement. I will get a taxi from the station.
Love Heather UK xxxxxxxx (look up Chichester if you're interested)

Question, one of you stated that my food diary was not able to be viewed. I have it on "public" and my profile can be viewed by "everyone". Is there something I am not clicking?
Confused a wee bit on Whidbey

I know its weird! I have clicked on the public! I will contact costumer service.😁
Here is today's diary anyways. Keeping it simple as its dose day.👍🏼
My haircut is done, feeling lots better as always, but $84 poorer. Its a factored in expense every couple of months.

My latest painting project. Got this at an estate sale for $1. It’s hard to get the right color (or mix colors to make it right). The red one is bullwinkle, the other one is Floyd and of course in the middle there’s yogi.

Pip - that's just amazing. Great job and what an awesome tribute to your pups!🤩
