9/8: 298.2 - Mondays are my recovery from my weekend. However, I did come home and get a lot of chores done, so I'd say I was more productive than usual.
9/9: 297.6 - Looked back on my weight to start this year and then again when I moved here in May and my weight was up 5 pounds before I moved and another 5 now. Disappointed but there's still time to get back to my start weight for the year at least. So, I've added that to my declarations.
9/10: 297.3 - Husband made us a beautiful dinner last night. He also ensured we had veggies as part of the meal. Busy at work right now.
9/11: 295.8 - Got a big smile on my face today. Feeling fairly in control. Hoping I can build on this momentum. My goal weight for this round is feeling achievable!
9/12: 297.1? I did weigh in but my app didn't record it so this is my best guess from memory.
9/13: DNW - Oops, got dressed today before I stepped on the scale! Nice date day with my husband. We checked out a volunteer fair and went to a winery.3 -
I enjoy reading everyone’s posts with my coffee each morning.

9/13 DNW Bags are packed to the absolute limit with treasure for my flight back to NY early tomorrow. My aunt and I stopped at every thrift store we saw. Haha I have to wear the $2 vintage woolrich winter coat on the plane because it doesn’t fit in my bags.
I’m optimistic that the scale will reflect the long walks and not the spoonfuls of “top the tater” and old Dutch potato chips I shoveled into my face hole. Also just a reminder- Wisconsin is known for cheese and dairy (read I ate lots of cheese and ice cream).
Hoping those apples I stole from every tree I walked by balance it out.
I’m looking forward to hugging my DH and snuggling my little dogs.

🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 308 (my 238th).
Goals for every round;
- First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!
- to weigh less at the end of the round than the start
- be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end
- an additional goal for me (again) this round is to have a totally 10-day binge free round, will be difficult with hotel food all round!
Soooh, in 5 hours we fly out for our annual holiday; in that time I want to eat at maintanence & not overindulge, but I am on holiday so will relax a tad, I can do it if I use my will power.
Good luck for success everyone.
I am the driver in my life & not the passenger, I need to drive my life to a healthy life.

".9/7 141.6 – (trend 141.8) 11.64 miles walked. Can’t say that I’m not disappointed with this number especially after Friday’s goal weight being achieved, I was under calories yesterday, but over on carbs, I’ll blame the pizza for tea. Oh well, it is what it is!

9/8 DNW - up at 1.30 am to travel to airport, good food yesterday.
9/9 DNW - kept as much on track as possible. Buffet food at the hotel & all inclusive, kept portion control and made sensible choices, but so tempting! One adult beverage on arrival & one with dinner.
9/ 10 DNW - 7.98 mile walked.
9/11 DNW - 8.34 miles walked, still exercising portion control & sensible choices, 2 adult beverages. It is so relaxed here, first time for many years we have actually lay on the beach for a couple of hours and swam in the sea which is so warm & clear, wonderful to see all the fish big & small swimming!
9/12 DNW - 8.4 miles walked. This is such a small resort that walking is limited, but we are managing to go 6 miles in the morning & make it up in the evening after dinner.
9/13 DNW - 9.61 miles walked, ate a little more than other days, need to rein in today.
9/14 DNW - 7.32 miles walked, it was soooo hot yesterday! Not complaining, that's what we paid our money for, but a struggle to get steps in!!

Missed the UPF goal with a Klondike Bar. I defrosted the Freezer downstairs and found that delightful little square of ultra-processed-ness. Reason? I may have done some emotional eating yesterday. We took our 15 year old Poppy into the vet for a final goodbye. Yes, I cried like a baby. (my eyes are leaking right now) The hard part was watching my DW’s emotional response after holding Poppy in the final moments. She and Poppy “had a thing.”9/10: 220.4

Not a lot of discipline, but ounces keep coming off so far this round. This will not be sustainable with this week’s festivities.DW and I will staff one of the ticket booths tonight, selling ride tickets for the carnival. This is one of our Rotary service projects. I am always amazed how much money gets shoved at me through that teller window in exchange for a few moments of fun. We all like to see our children smile and laugh.

Chasing my tail. I did not log anything, but I suspect I met my target.Tonight is the first night of 50th reunion festivities. One of the guys is hosting a “cigarfest” at the farm he grew up on. Mostly a campfire. It will probably be 8 or 10 of us out of a class of 300. (It may surprise some of you to know I have an occasional cigar. Boys like to play with fire. I don’t know how to log that in MFP! HA!)

Just Give Me 10 Days – Round 308
Sept 8 -17, 202563 year old female, 5’5”. I am married, semi-nomadic (we live in three states, Mass, Maine, Florida).
SW: 126.2
8/8 – 126.2 I got through yesterday well. Was a very mixed day. It started with family visiting my mom so she could finally see DGS2 for his second birthday. She was totally blank. I have never seen her like this, to this extreme. So, the family together was fun, but mom’s condition/behavior was stressful. We’ll see what today brings.
8/9 – 126.6 regarding the scale, the day ended poorly. I was wondering overnight whether it is easier for me to NOT start vs STOP once a binge has begun. Just something for me to contemplate. As for my mom, yesterday was as if Sunday never happened. She seems to know nothing about it and is acting “normal” (she is roughly stage 5 for “normal” reference). She apparently claims to not remember any of us visiting, and it was 7 of us for about an hour and a half. I would love to understand the “why”.
8/10 – 127.2 yesterday, calories were good/fine. Maybe this was delayed results from the previous day. Was with mom again, and yesterday was like Sunday. Her healthcare provider is going to check her today, but zoom medical with her psychologist (for dementia) agreed that we may just be seeing a stress reaction to change (new bed and new aid added to her team).
8/11 – 125.6 good day all around. Back into maintenance range. Got 5 out of 10 days in round 307.
8/12 – 126.6 Over on calories. Dinner was at 4:15 (attended a wake), and just got too hungry later in the evening. Also, dinner and late night were “processed” items and overnight finger were tight. Theory is there might be salt and fluid retention showing her. I did try on rehearsal dinner and wedding dresses yesterday, and everything fits. Today’s food should be good and is planned out, and will NOT be a 4:15 dinner.
8/13 – 126.8 a definite gift. Binge again. At least I know there is no time for a binge today or tomorrow, but still facing lots of foot. I plan to enjoy but be thoughtful.
8/14 – 126.6 Made it through yesterday. Mom rose to the occasion and enjoyed the rehearsal dinner. She is skipping the wedding today. Pulling myself together this morning. I have to be at the venue before 8:30. Quickly drinking my coffee and gotta go.

Welcome back past members, welcome new members, let's keep each other accountable for another 10 days!
Here is what you do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. You have only one hour to edit your post. Post every day to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non-scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share. Make the board your own - track what is important for YOUR JOURNEY.
FOR NEWBIES
- I find it easiest to copy the dates to a document or note in my device and edit it each morning. Then copy and paste to the message board. MFP will return you to the spot on the board where you left off on your previous visit which is nice to know if you like to scan all the posts.

Rnd 306 Ending Weight: 141.1
Rnd 307 Ending Weight: 145.09/8: 145.4. No explanation for another increase. Food was within goals, 4 mile treadmill run.
9/9: 146.2. ?? TOM is coming up soon, so that may be making me a bit bloated. No TMI for a few days. But I don't know. Seems like weight is just ballooning out of control. I really haven't been eating crazy. Hopefully it'll go down just as quick when my body is ready.
I've decided I'm going to try OMAD for a while. See if just a change in my patterns will force a bit of a good change on the scale.
9/10: 144.4. I wasn't very successful at OMAD yesterday. I kept taking bites of random food whenever I was in the kitchen without even thinking about it. I'm going to keep trying though. I need to work on self control around food.
Long outdoor walk and 4 mile treadmill run.
9/11: 144.0. I did a lot better with OMAD yesterday. It still wasn't perfect, but I had a lot more self control. It is helping with awareness of what I am popping into my mouth. I'm doing fine hunger-wise.
PMS got to me a bit yesterday, so I skipped running. I did a long walk in the morning though.
9/12: 142.6. I'm happy to have released some water weight. OMAD went well yesterday. There was just one moment during my kids' dinner that I snuck a few bites of their leftovers but other than that, I stuck to it pretty well. Still working towards a perfect day.
I went for a walk, but took another rest day from running. I was too exhausted from PMS again. I feel kind of guilty for taking a few days off, but I really just didn't have it in me. I won't be able to go tonight, but I'll be back at it tomorrow.
9/13: 143.6. I thought my weight would be down today, I had a good day yesterday. I stuck to my one meal and didn't do any snacking. I did a 3 mile walk but wasn't able to get to the gym for a run. I need to get a run in today, I have missed 3 days.
9/14: 142.5. Happy with this. Yesterday was a good day. No snacking. Stayed in my calories. A 3 mile walk and a 10k run.

I screwed up. I thought today was the last day of R#307. I will catch up tomorrow. #HSF #MindBodySoul Let’s do this!!💪🏻
(THE City Council Meeting is tomorrow eve)! I’ve got tomorrow covered.
9/9 132.4 🏆🎾🚶♀️💗👣🤸🏼Tossed & turned all night. Of course. I’m too groggy to figure out today but I WILL fuel my body & move. Full court press today -for tonight’s meeting. - I’m keeping up pretty well. I need to 💦🏋️♀️. My two ✅ non-negotiables today.#HSF #MindBodySoul.
NSV: I’m in a MUCH better place (head) than I was 2 yrs or even 6mos ago. I’ve learned NEW habit formation for me is REALLY harder than I ever imagined. I have some new habits that I’m extra proud of (💦📖👣🚶♀️💗& 🥩P:E) but ohhhh soooo far to go. Some old /current habits (like self-talk) are still forever-present & destructive. Quick to realize but always there. Must be thankful for the awareness so I at least can change directions.
9/10 132.4 🏆🚶♀️💗👣🤸🏼 We lost. No regrets only sorrow for my town. I will need a few days to get through this… But I’m ready to embrace a ANOTHER new chapter and move on. Very proud of the consistency on this #HSF journey during this emotional time - at least this morning anyway. Maybe I have indeed created a few dependable healthy habits. Counting my blessings. Onward!

🙏Life forever changed yesterday. 🙏

9/13 & 9/14. Plan to get back on track today. Little to no sleep… I didn’t go off the rails, but I was definitely off plan with portion control. Quite difficult to stay on plan when sleep deprived. Last night I crashed at 7:45PM and slept soundly till 6AM so I may have turned the corner to somewhat normalcy. Planning my WV 🚶♀️💗👣 🏋️♀️ this morning and visiting grandchildren.

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful feedback. I think I haven’t explained the situation as well as I could. Hospital already has a helipad (for the past 25 years). Helipad has a neutral/good location. They have ample space around their campus to build a new garage but have elected to expand their campus north into a neighborhood of single-family residences- elected to put the new five story 200,000 ft.² garage on an already overburdened intersection. Our PZ & City Council didn’t question anything and RUBBER stamped it. The city ALLOWED it. There were over 10 zoning violations and a traffic study that did not follow our code and was not to industry standard or peer reviewed. Yes, I do care for patients as I was the founding executive director of the hospitals foundation and raised MILLIONS of dollars for patient programs and new facilities. I am intimately connected to the hospital but 100% against the LOCATION and size/height as it harms the neighborhood and causes hazardous traffic conditions. They had four other sites on which to build - within the current traffic flow and within the current campus. However, they (the city and the hospital) chose to destroy a single family neighborhood and defy our community’s comprehensive master plan. It’s politics & power and NOTHING to do with improving patient care. Thankfully, every single council member SHALL be defeated in their next election.

I can only guess that after such a late weigh-in yesterday and a huge water shedding after my diuretic, I may have been slightly dehydrated yesterday. I guess this number is where I stand and start my day today and which is most likely accurate. Today I travel about 100 miles to take my DD shopping and DGS to bowl a few games. Lunch will be out, her pick. I guess there may be another squiggly line on my graph tomorrow. We’ll see.
🐝🐝🐝🐝 09/14-186.2 ❌ (Trend Weight: 184.9) Bowling with the three littlest littles yesterday was lots of fun but two out of three of them actually beat my scores (the pre-school 4 yr old and the first grader). I used to be a pretty good bowler in my younger days! Lunch out was a Chinese buffet (Foodie DD’s choice). Within the hour of the buffet lunch (she ate a LOT), she ordered Two Large Pizza’s at the bowling alley! Unbelievable! It can’t be food insecurity, I promise she had a normal eating life growing up. I avoided the pizza and was done with food for the day after the buffet. Weight is up 2.2 today which is pretty typical for me after any restaurant meals of any kind. Hopefully I can stay home for a few days and get back to routine. I did shop while away and pick up more of my plan foods. I should be good to go. Enjoy your Sunday!

GW to end 2025: 284.79/8: 298.2 - Mondays are my recovery from my weekend.

🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 308 (my 238th).
Goals for every round;

9/15 DNW - 7.83 miles walked.

@SModa61 Holy Hairbrush!!! Now that we’ve seen the “before”, can’t wait to see the “after”. Wise decision for mom to participate in the smaller celebration, she is part of the memory without overwhelming her.
@Chapter_3 It’s so sad that big corporations (we have a “for profit” hospital system) when clearly shown that they have made a bad choice just blatantly refuse to admit it and change course. I’m proud of you for all of the work you did. I’m so proud that you stood up and fought for your community, with the intelligence, grace and tenacity of yours that we all admire.

9/15 175.2 This will settle down by the end of this round. At least I certainly hope it will. DH and I celebrated my triumphant return with an untethered Mexican food outing. His triumph was doing his own laundry for a week AND mopping the floors!
I opted to eat the really bad for you fried food options and two giant spicy margaritas. It was fun but I’m looking forward to giant salad for dinner tonight and getting back to my workouts.
Fingers crossed, but maybe I’ll have a 173 point something for this round. Wouldn’t that be delightful!

9/8 - 128.6. Just looking to maintain this round. I’ll be on vacation tomorrow through Saturday and plan to indulge (my favorite ice cream shop in the world is where we’re going and I haven’t been in years!). Hopefully the last 4 days of the round will be enough for damage control back to my start weight. Today is meatless Monday in our house and I plan to make a veggie-rich dinner with one last round of tomatoes from the garden (I planted 8 tomato plants but let the volunteers go wild and we ended up with way more supply than demand!). I did a Peloton ride this morning and just have trip prep the rest of the day. Happy Monday! I know, easy for me to say with a vacation starting tomorrow 😆

9/14 - 132.8. Not surprised by this considering I overindulged all week even through my drive home yesterday. I was exhausted and drove alone with the kids for 8 hours and was shoving anything I could into my mouth to stay alert. It was a lovely break and the kids absolutely loved the beach and all the seafood! We did a beautiful sunset paddleboard (technically a stand-up paddleboard but I sit with them) our last evening there. Today is cleaning, unpacking, maybe gardening, and hopefully a workout of some sort. Still tired.
(Typed in my note but did not post)
9/15 - 132.0. My main goal today is to drink more water than I have been. I’m substituting this morning but plan to do a short strength workout with my 4yo at home this afternoon. Really need a miracle to meet my maintenance goal this round! Yesterday I wound up going on a short mountain bike ride. I need to do that more. Love getting into the woods on two wheels!

If I am honest, I did not have exercise time yesterday, but I never stopped moving with all of the activities and pre-trip fretting. This trip has three square meals a day included, but lots of touring. This is my last official entry for a couple weeks or so. Any future check-ins will be internet and free-time dependent.I have to say I am happy with the results of this round when all the festivities are considered. I managed to maintain through it all.

9/15: 142.4. I got a little munchy last night, so not a perfect day. I need to tighten up my eating a little. But it wasn't too bad of a day though. 3 mile walk and a 5 mile treadmill run.

SW 214 Round 308 (1)
9/8 - 214 - I just signed up for Caroline Girvan's new Iron series on her app and it officially starts today. I have done some of her Iron workouts on YouTube (free) and over the weekend, I saw a FB post about her new next level Iron series that starts today and just the idea of starting something, anything with other people makes me feel a little bit more motivated. Starting today, I am going to stick to a new plan and see it out for the next ten weeks. It is fitting that this round also started today. The Universe is telling me that today is the day, lol! About to go start Iron, day 1, now.
9/9 - 211 - Looks like I lost the water weight from eating some non-healthy food on Saturday. I did my first Iron Pro workout yesterday. Even though there were a LOT of lunges, it wasn't too bad because this series has a longer rest period between sets which I found very helpful. Because of that, I was able to complete all of the sets. I have upped my daily step goal to 7,000 each day but it has been very rainy here for the past couple of days that I haven't been able to get in a long walk. I did take a short walk yesterday in the rain while waiting for my daughter's bus so that helped me get to 5,500 steps for the day. I didn't eat over my planned macros either so I say my first day was a successful one!
9/10 - 210.5 - Half a pound down, I'll take that, lol! Even with more rain yesterday, I was able to meet my step goal of 7,500! I might have even gone over but once I hit my goal, I take my watch off (it's usually the evening anyhow) just because it's so heavy and bulky and I really don't care about wearing it. It does help keep me on track with my steps and helps if and when my daughter contacts me because I am usually not on my phone for most of the day. I also completed day 2 of Iron Pro! Just have to keep going!! Happy Wednesday!!
9/11 - 210.5 - I had a lot of work yesterday and wasn't able to come close to my step count but that's okay, I did stick to my nutrition plan and got my third workout in. Iron Pro day 3 was much harder than I thought it was going to be! It was more lunges and at this point, my toes hurt from doing them, lol! It felt like a very LONG 30 mins! Today is supposed to be a rest day per the Iron Calendar so I think I will just do some random exercises from some IG posts I've saved.
9/12 - TGIF! Yesterday was a rest day in regards to the Iron program and even though I had planned on it being more of an active rest day, I didn't feel well so I just went for a short walk. Today is Day 4 of the Iron series and it's supposed to be a full body day so hopefully if it includes lunges, it won't be that many! My goal for this weekend is to not binge eat and plan out my food just like I do during the week. I usually spend all week going back down the scale from what I gained over the weekend. That may work in maintenance but not if I want to keep losing.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
9/15 - 209 - Weekend went by fast but the weather here was beautiful so I spent most of my time outside just doing yard work. I didn't track my food over the weekend but I also was very mindful of what I was eating and didn't binge eat like usual. Weight is slowly coming off. Not feeling so well today but I am still hopeful that I will get my workout in for today.
