My NSV was a couple of weeks ago I was undergoing a very stressful time and for the first time I didn't eat my way through it. I actually had to become thoughtful about what was happening and to be strategic and that doing what needed to be done at the time was more important than stuffing my face. I was very surprised and proud of myself. It gave me confidence that food, and not healthy food, mind you wasn't going to solve my problem.

Pulled out some running leggings and a more fitted running shirt that I usually hate wearing because the pants roll down and the shirt clings to all the not so flattering areas. But, it's laundry day so I was just going to deal with it for a short run with my daughter. To my surprise… both fit nicely and I didn't feel like a busted can of biscuits!

Ran 41k so far this month. Goal is 100k for charity.

Really realizing how much of a victory maintaining is. I've lost and regained the same 45 pounds twice in the last five years. Summer was difficult with so many weight loss minefields, but I maintained. This mindset change is an important step in keeping the weight off in the long term, I think.

I walked a mile the other day! I know that doesn't seem like much but it is progress. I have become largely house bound over the past year and a half thanks to a medical condition that has stolen my strength. I have done 7 marathons and 33 half marathons in the past and hiked half the Appalachian Trail. I might never get back to that point but a mile is progress!
I did walk a mile last year once when I went to a Green Day concert and there were no placarded parking spaces left and the tram wasn't operating. It took me over an hour and I had to sit on the ground a few times and was physically sick. People thought I was drunk! But this time I did my mile with no vomiting or sitting down. Who knows maybe I will work my way up to two miles next time

I did an assisted handstand this morning.
I’ve been terrified, but my partner this morning is not only a world class athlete in her field, she knew how to spot and help me up.
And then I did it again!
And then, when I (unnecessarily) spotted her she did (unassisted) handstand pushups.
Goals. 😂

I was just thinking how my activity level this past week is probably unsustainable. Well, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I just have to keep working at it. Maybe, just maybe, if I do then it won't seem like such a big deal. For now it sure has been. Today is a much needed rest day.
The NSV? As I was just working here, my fitness device buzzed and something showed up on the screen. It said my "Fitness Age" had decreased. It tells me that my "fitness age" is about five years lower than my chronological age. It has some ways I can get three more years of decrease; something to work on as a goal as well as something to celebrate.

Yoga studio has an annual 20 in 30 Days Challenge.
I started late. Leaving in a moment for #20, in 16 days. I’m the first one finished.
Have kept up my usual workouts at the same time.
I’m exhausted. But, I’ll get the mug. 👍🏻

Got my 11yo out for a big walk yesterday and we did 10km. Each of us felt so much better for it despite the initial resistance. Healthy happy tired last night afterward😊

Realized that I could pull my regular jeans down without unbuttoning/unzipping yesterday, even with some cycle bloating going on. Grabbed some jeans this morning that have been uncomfortably snug for a few years, and they fit perfectly with a little room in the waist.

I posted a while back about being able to fit into all my dresses in my closet. I am now able to fit into all my pants too. My clothes span an entire range of sizes from size 18 to size 9 jr.

Don't know if this is an NSV or not, I'm down 74 lbs (294-220) and walk my dogs every day. It seems like since I've lost weight I don't have the base to hold my dogs anymore. Like if they see a squirrel now I need to let them go or I'm going down. Before I think i had enough mass they coulnd't move me.

Wow - must be big dogs!
