Great start to the month @Mari33a . I hope you don't get too much rain.

    You're doing great @chris_in_cal .

    1 Oct - Walked 0.90 miles - Ran 2.35 miles - Treadmill
    2 Oct - Walked 1.15 miles - Ran 0.00 miles - Driveway - Doubles tennis 1h49m42s (1.28 miles)

    4.40/80.00 mile goal

    Posting two days.

Yesterday, I got up early so I could get in a run before heading out for the day. I kept adding to my "before I leave the house" to do list, so wound up cutting the run a bit short from what I had hoped to accomplish. Avg run pace was 12:56 min/mile. Avg HR was 113 with a max of 138 bpm.

Today, I got the first service done on my Crosstrek and then mom and I did some shopping while out and about. I did a driveway walk after I got home so I could eat a bite and have time for it to settle before heading out for doubles tennis.

Tennis was fun. There were 8 ladies…we played a set and then switched partners. I think I lost all of my sets, but they were close and I played pretty good AND it was fun.

Irish hurricanes, eh? Are you pulling my leg here?

I'm glad to hear the storm wasn't too rough on you.

@chris_in_cal I jest not. The hurricanes take 2 weeks to cross the Atlantic & we get anything from breezy warm to like this full on storm at this time of year. September is always breezy and warm and rainy too sometimes

    02/10 - 0km - Rest day
    03/10 - 0km - Cycling - 28km

Unexpected rest day on Thursday, which was unfortunate as it would have been a great weather day for a run, but stuff happens. Today had a bunch of financial info to review so hopped on the stationary bike for a 72 min ride while I doing so.

Welcome @nossmf I'm glad to see you are trying out adding running to your routine again.. That's great.

For me running has a bunch of ups and downs depending on how my health and life are going. The best part of this group is the consistent effort each of us puts in to keep going. Some daily, some regularly, some sporadically, some incredible impressive running streaks, and all are good. Just don't stop working your plan.
