            I am soooooo frustrated. My weight went back up by .6 lbs. this week. My calories are good, and I’ve been walking/jogging. Saturday alone I burned almost 3500 calories and had a deficit of over 2000 calories at the end of the day. The back of my left knee (is that your knee pit?) feels like I have a ping pong ball stuck in it. It doesn’t hurt, but just feel incredibly tight. The husband doesn’t see any swelling. I haven’t had a single drop of alcohol in 85 days. My weight is going up and down so much I’m getting freaking whiplash! On paper, I should’ve lost 2+ lbs this week. But, here I am recording a gain, and my body hurts/aches. I don’t understand why. When I do everything right, my body rebels! WTH?! 5

            I did ok, not imbibing during football, but had wine with dinner. @NonnieDoiron ~ Hang in there…those expected results will show, they just want to mess with your mind at the moment. You're good…stay the course!! AF = 9

            @NonnieDoiron ugh so frustrating. At least you had some good news this week! @chicbuc have a great time on your cruise! @itlaydee. Thank you! Only one drink for spooky golf afterwards at dinner. Yay! The wedding…. I’m going to say I had 3 total drinks, which honestly isn’t horrible considering. What is horrible is that I managed to get butter on the front of my gown, so I whishepit off to the dry cleaners. I pray it comes out, I have other weddings and events to go to with it! Plus it was expensive! Grrr. Pray for me! Tonight is book club, hosted by my friend who is REALLY into Halloween. Should be fun, but I’m going to micro-sip one glass of wine. Luckily I’ll get there late so I’ll miss the early pour as people come in. 5

            Checking in - did okay this past week - only one day over, the rest of the week in the green and stayed on target for the week even with the one day over. AF - 10 (counting today - sticking with my goals this week will give me 12 dry for October) A (on target) - 10 A (over target)- 7 5

 Wow, @xbowhunter you are on fire with your AF days. You are demonstrating how to have a runway LA month. Very inspiring!@NonnieDoiron - weight loss can be wonky as your body adjusts to new lower levels! All kinds of thing play into the scale tales. You are really putting in the hard work not to mention 85 AF days!!! A huge congratulations to you. 6

            I FINALLY lost 1 lb. Only took 2 months. YEP. This is what happens at age 60. Tomorrow I turn 60. EEEEK! (Screaming). So very not ready for this. I want to have a non-birthday and pretend it's not happening. I was AF today but tomorrow it won't happen. I do have planned Happy Hour at a wine bar in Scottsdale and afterwards going to have a calorie bomb of a dinner nearby and try one of the trendy cocktails. Contemplating making it my last drinking day before I begin another AF year. @NonnieDoiron Getting in too much exercise on some days will give me normal inflammation and temporary weight gain. If I go easy the following 2 days, just walking and pool or relax, it comes off. Seems like the body likes to let go of weight when it's relaxed and hang onto it when stressed or inflammed, just my own observation. 8

            @globalhiker Wishing you a happy birthday! I'm also over 60. I don't know if I agree with @Michieb125 with it being fabulous on this side of 60 {LOL}. But it probably would have been fabulous if I hadn't spent all these years drinking. I feel like I've wasted so much time drinking and not enjoying life. It actually makes me mad when I think of it. So far today I've been alcohol free. But I've been starting to feel a little anxious. As a lot of you know, I was drinking a fifth (give or take) a day. It's not good to try to quit cold turkey. So I think I'll have my husband buy me a half-pint before the liquor store closes. Earlier today, I was thinking about why people drink. It's kind of stupid really. Alcohol is harmful to our bodies, it causes weight gain, causes us to be less active (among other things). I hope I can be successful and get my health and fitness back!             Hello, my LA friends. AF = 21 A = 7 Yesterday when I arrived at home I felt like having a glass of wine. I waited 5min and the want went away and I had a Corona zero. So glad I made the correct choice because I slept great and feel like a million dollars today… :) 12

            Well…I'm AF so far again today. I slept really good last night and I plan on remaining AF for the rest of the day. I feel pretty motivated (almost excited). I will post again this evening. Wish me luck 😀 12

            @NonnieDoiron Thank you! But I was feeling a little weird. So we just went to the liquor store and I bought a half-pint (200 ml). That is much less than a fifth which is 750 ml. I'm sure I'll get it tomorrow. Have a good evening! 6

 @xbowhunter way to push through the craving. I’m having one right now , would love to pour a nice glass of wine, but I like my stats this month too much!Last night I achieved my goal of only one glass of wine! I didn’t reach for the second one! Yay! 6

            There’s always tomorrow. The longer you can hold out each day, the better you’re going to do! Not a good week for me, and I want to have a glass of wine. None in the house, but I don’t feel like going anywhere. A-0

            Pretty good looking numbers @xbowhunter! @globalhiker I think you were onto something! I weighed this morning after 3 days of sitting on my *kitten* and still wearing my pjs, and I was below my weight from 2 weigh-ins ago. I think you were absolutely right about my body’s inflammation response to the physical exertion on Saturday before my weigh-in. With that being said, I think I’m going to change my weigh-in to Friday mornings before the potential of labor/intensive weekends that could screw up my body. Thanks for your input because it really did get me thinking and put me back on the positive side of things! @WestCoastGirl_1 stay strong today, Friend! See how long you can hold out. 5

            So many of you guys are doing GREAT! I hope to catch your spirit. Thanks for Bday wishes and I want to be back in action. For November, I decided to get MFP premium and track it all including all liquids. It's scary but I need to do it. My AF days were about 75% but that doesn't tell the real story. On the days I drank, about half of those occasions, I had no real idea how much but know it was too much. 3 days left to get my mood and mindset geared up to have a spectacular November. 8
