@globalhiker that’s great you are treating yourself to the premium plan! Yes, plan for a spectacular November!
I have had MFP premium for nearly two years and tracked every single food and drink to the point of obsession. LOL.
But it’s been very good for tracking all the Macro details I like to see and I love no ads ;). you can also download progress reports and pair your devices for exercise……Hope you like it!

Not promoting but sharing information. There is plenty of info on macros out there, but I have followed this registered dietician on IG for a long while…..she has a great perspective on alcohol as the 4th macro…..it’s for people interested in moderate alcohol consumption as part of their lifestyle - she is pro LA as well and has some great tips for achieving less.

@tmbg1 glad to hear you’re doing a little better, despite all. The final goodbye will be tough, but such an important part of grieving.

@itladyee I agree with @NonnieDoiron Just make your own birthday fun!

I once was deserted by my friends on my birthday (I wasn't married yet), so I decided to go out by myself. I went to this tiny old mining town called Gold Hill. They had an old hotel and two other bars that had gambling. I ran into a couple of guys by the pool table. I had the best birthday ever. We stuck together all night long and went casino hoping.

Do what you want to do!

@globalhiker right there with ya - I can go a week dry and put down the better part of a fifth in one session. It is what it is, I guess. I've been trying to work on regulating QUANTITY as much as FREQUENCY. Both are big parts of my journey.

@WestCoastGirl_1 congrats on day 1! (edit - day two?!?!? Hell yeah!) I know how freaking hard that is.

@itladyee I think it's a guy thing. We're logic driven, we want to give you what you want and so we ask you what it is that you want. We don't want to plan something and hope that you like it, because if we're wrong, we worry about the aftermath. Just one of those things.

Not gonna do the math to figure out where I am tonight. Had a beer last night and two tonight, nothing too crazy but not AF.

I don't know if any of you dabble in tarot…the last time I pulled cards out, I was working on planning a new stage in my business growth, pulled a single card from the Thoth deck which I'm not really familiar with. Pulled the Knight of Wands, which screamed forward at any cost. I haven't touched a deck since. Well, I've been doing a lot of work on myself, and the road ahead involves psychedelics. I know where I'm going, I know what I'll be facing there…I have a lot to reconcile, others to forgive, myself to forgive, and a lot of things to learn how to carry. Tonight, I decided to pull out my old deck, a modded Sacred Rose deck that I've used for years. I'm not going to get into every card I pulled, but the last card down was The World. After contemplating the spread for a bit, thinking it didn't really touch on the aspects I was looking for, I grabbed a different deck, shuffled the hell out of it, and started to pull cards. The first card down? The World. Okay, I get it, I'm not blind or deaf. Put the cards up. My answer? This is gonna suck, but I'll be okay.

I'm terrified of the work I'm about to get into, but I know what awaits me there and I know it's what I need to do. There's so much crammed into those dark corners of my brain, ignored for years or decades…

    …healing awaits.
