11/01-183.0 β (Trend Weight: 184.1) Below is my Trend Weight graph for the past 6 months. I did really well starting around my birthday (May 10th) through summer. Then in September and throughout Autumn I have really become stagnant and fizzled out. No big permanent gains, just kind of like a firecracker that turned out to be a dud. Itβs time to pick up some steam again, some sparkle. With the holidays directly in front of us, it wonβt be easy but Iβm going to give it the old college try and do my best to navigate it. I wonβt settle for just βnot gainingβ during the holidays. The losses need to pick back up and push their way through. I never know what tomorrow brings, but today I feel ready! New Month, Fresh Start!

π¦π¦π¦π¦ 11/02 β 183.0 βοΈ (Trend Weight β 184.1) I made a lousy choice for dinner last night. Just because it fits into my calorie goal doesnβt mean it conducive to weight loss. I must remember that the wrong ACTUAL food choices (carbs, starches) that raise my blood sugars physically and scientifically trigger extreme hunger and extreme cravings as my body tries to βfixβ things. I managed to get through it (this time) but things would be much easier if I would just stick to approved foods. Itβs just so hard to stay away from certain things common and approved for other non-diabetic people. A sandwich without bread just isnβt filling! And sometimes Iβm hyper-focused on heart health (saturated fat etc) and miss the big picture in my diabetes planning. Weight remained steady today but I must stay focused.

Tomorrow I travel for medical appointment so Iβm glad Iβm on good footing before the trip. There will be lots of sitting and a restaurant (or two). I will try to keep my head on my shoulders and stay away from desserts and extras.

π¦π¦π¦π¦ 11/04-183.2 β (Trend Weight: 183.8) A huge overnight increase on the scale even though I had a very good day yesterday. It was another βeasyβ day where I didnβt feel as hungry as normal. My glucose numbers were good and my cravings were low. However, I did not sleep well last night (Fitbit shows total of 2 hrs 50 minutes broken up). No TMI this morning is probably the biggest factor and it was an early weigh-in this morning as I got up earlier than normal due to my travel today. Below are yesterdayβs numbers. Hopefully things will settle in over the coming days though I may not weigh tomorrow because I usually need a buffer day after travel.
