11/04-183.2 β (Trend Weight: 183.8) A huge overnight increase on the scale even though I had a very good day yesterday. It was another βeasyβ day where I didnβt feel as hungry as normal. My glucose numbers were good and my cravings were low. However, I did not sleep well last night (Fitbit shows total of 2 hrs 50 minutes broken up). No TMI this morning is probably the biggest factor and it was an early weigh-in this morning as I got up earlier than normal due to my travel today. Below are yesterdayβs numbers. Hopefully things will settle in over the coming days though I may not weigh tomorrow because I usually need a buffer day after travel.
π¦π¦π¦π¦ 11/05-184.8 β (Trend Weight: 183.9) I wasnβt going to weigh today because our choices yesterday when out of town were never-ending pasta, breadsticks and soup. Olive Garden was a bit of a treat since even our closest faraway towns βup northβ where I live donβt have Olive Gardens. I feel like I boxed a lot to take home (ate it later for dinner) and did βokayβ. Not great, not too bad. But the stop for ice cream at my sonβs request on the way home was totally unnecessary. He held me down and forced it down my throat or I wouldnβt have eaten it. It was quite the public display! Anyway, hopefully some of the fluid retention will drop off in the next day or two. I donβt think the whole 1.6 lb increase is fat. Fingers crossed!

Having a shocking couple of days failed 2 of my nursing assessments and Iβm just so darn exhausted. I ate fast food and chocolate last night because darn it I deserve a bad day occasionally. I enjoyed my whopper with cheese and chocolates. My son bought me chocolates and flowers because it was just an awful day. Struggling so much with fatigue and donβt know how to fix it. Sometimes physical activity can help but other times it makes it worse - I just donβt know.

Itβs like 180.0 is the Great Wall Of China, so long that I just canβt get around and something I could never scale either! Itβs like it is a trigger for me! These last couple of days I have spiraled. But knowledge is power so I am going to try to go forward with bravery!

I guess I need to rethink posting too early. Yesterday, I posted my plan, but it all went south at lunch when I switched my order from the salmon and salad I planned to a grilled chicken bruschetta with fruit. It would have been fine had I remembered to order sans focaccia bread (which was a HUGE bun). I still could have pushed it to the side, but I ate every bite. Later in the day, the church ladies served chocolate cake. After dinner, I had popcorn and 5 bite size Halloween candies. It was a caloric catastrophe. I also skipped my planned walk. So double whammy!
On the win side, I ate small bites, slowly and mindfully, and I skipped the ice cream.
Today, I am on plan, and have already been to exercise class. I feel confident I will stay within 300 cal of my plan. Even going out to dinner.

@deepwoodslady I know what you mean about the Great Wall. Iβve lost the same 25 pounds over and over. Once lose 25, I take a break and soon Iβm at the top and crying again!4 -
