Good grief my last post was full of typos . I was doing it from my phone and my phone keyboard is on the fritz. So sorry about that. I do actually know how to spell ! :)

    JFT- and weekend:)

CAUTION Obstacles ahead…(that is how I feel about all the things I need to tackle in the coming days)

    • Getting a new phone- My whole phone has been on the fritz as I have run out of storage on the device itself due to apps. I don't even have many apps, but as time goes on , apps take up more storage as they get more updates.. and well, an old iphone 12 with only 65 gb of phone storage is apparently no longer enough. After much procrastination I finally ordered a new to me refurbished but certified Iphone 15 model. It's still two models behind the current version but phones have gotten so expensive. I was able to get one with 258 gb in the hopes that it would last me a bit longer. I dread the process of changing over my phone because I have had issues trying to do it myself in the past with transferring from old to new.
    • Mom and Dad's Medicare plan for the 2026 year. Meeting with the agent today because they need to get off their current plan due to changes made that will make it to expensive for them. Mom just wants to be told what to do and doesn't even want to try to understand things on her own. Dad has VA and Medicare advantage and I am not sure that is needed. He definitely doesn't understand insurance and its painful trying to explain things to him.
    • Get in more study time- this week I have not done well. Only got through three chapters this week. The evenings are full of distractions and I need to just start locking myself in my office in the evening I guess and getting my hubby to pick up some additional tasks in the evening.
    • I have finally made a massage appt to see if I can get this knot or whatever it is out of my neck/shoulder that has been bugging me for months. It hurts to turn my head to the right and go from sitting back to sitting more straight up.
    • Breakfast with my girls Saturday morning- looking forward to this!

    Happy Friday everyone

Mini-hiatus over… Wed. had a day w/ my BFF PZ to belatedly celebrate her retirement & my bday last month. We drove 40 miles to small town on shore of Lake Michigan & ate at a microbrew pub (no alcohol this time though). I ate a taco flight (so fun) with homemade chips & beer cheese dip ~ yum! Then we thrift shopped, drove along the lakeshore & stopped at a beach/park/lighthouse. A fun day. Yesterday started w/ 4 mi walk w/ doggo, interrupted 2x by long chats with folks along the way. Did some household chores, then made apple crisp & finished reading chapter for evening Bible study. Since it was the final chapter of the book we used, we had munchies & more chitchat after, so home later than usual. No computer time for MFP either day, and didn't log food on W but did best guess for Th.

JFT F 11/14 ~ Gorgeous day! Sunny, only whisper of wind (so glad the gusty days took a break) and high of 59 (15 above normal!).

    • Walked dog 4.32 mi 😁/ OT exercises (not as diligent lately)
    • Leftovers for supper / healthy snack / limit sweets / log all food / 80 oz water / net calories zero
    • More fall yardwork with the hubby: he mowed/mulched backyard leaves while I raked the tree roots area; I cut back yellow roses (finally), fenced & mulched front of house flowers; we piled leaves on curb for city pick-up; I dumped final pot of flowers that had hung on all this time; hung last wind chime in shed; helped hubby wire up wind spinner in shed; scrubbed & refilled heated birdbath; he cleaned up mower & stored in shed; he started snowblower to make sure it works when needed (yay). Except to maybe rake some leaves still on the trees, I think we're ready for snow to fly! Not that I want it this early. LOL
    • Load/run dishwasher / read / digital declutter / other?

WOTY 2025: Judicious ~ I just like the way the word sounds, and the meaning is right for me: having or showing reason and good judgement in making decisions. I can apply this word in so many ways!

Recap F 11/14 ~ Gorgeous day! Sunny, only whisper of wind (so glad the gusty days took a break) and high of 59 (15 above normal!).

    • Walked dog 4.32 mi 😁/ OT exercises (not as diligent lately) πŸ™„ only 2x
    • Leftovers for supper / healthy snack ~ apple crisp / limit sweets ~ leftover ginger cake from Bible study, few peanut M&Ms / log all food / 80 oz water ~ lost track completely / net calories zero 😣 nope
LOL πŸ˜‚ With the gusty winds again blowing Sat. the last of the leaves are pretty much down & hubby & I made the decision they're going to decompose on the lawn over winter. So I stored last rake in shed. Yay!
    • Load/run dishwasher hubby did Sat morning while I was out, he even washed pots πŸ’—/ read / digital declutter / other? πŸ˜€ ta-da!

JFT Sat. 11/15 ~ Strong gusty winds back, mostly sunny and last day temps will be above normal. Back to reality tomorrow.

    • Planned rest day / OT exercises / min. 5000 steps / if winds calm, walk dog to park
    • Figure out supper / healthy snack / limit sweets / log all food / 80 oz water / net calories zero
    • 9:00 - 1:00 checked out new location of winter market & not great, but some vendors I really like will be there 😐️ / Breadsmith bought sourdough at market instead / 11:00 - 2:00 stop at book fair where PZ is one of the local featured authors 😁
    • Review/make planned donations / search red lentil recipes / rehearse music / read / digital declutter / call Mom / other?

@cschmitz110515- your day with your friends sounds lovely. A high of 59 in November is lovely. We are in our cloud and rain trend. I have MUD MUD MUD in the upper part of the pastures. Horses have to walk through mud to get to the water troughs and I hate that for them. Makes me crazy but luckily in the lower fields where the feeders its not muddy. At this point I'd rather things just freeze up.

My Friday went well but I felt like I ran behind all day. Spent about 3.5 hours with the friend of mine that is showing me the ropes with the insurance agent , Then I had to rush home to let the dog out and had about an hour to get some lunch and sit down and read another chapter and study a bit , then trek back into town for the massage. It was a really good massage. Just not long enough! I still have the sore area that won't seem to go away but my shoulders felt alot better in general. The therapist told me the tension in my shoulders is some of the worst she's seen . (she probably says that to all her client, lol)

Today I got up early and did a workout, then had breakfast with the a few friends , then a bit of shopping in town , came home , rewrapped horses leg, took the dog for a walk, got chores done, laundry in, and finally a birthday celebration dinner for a friend . Can a girl just have a minute to catch her breath??:)

    Tomorrow should be better..

I am beat.. Ready for bed
