11/17-178.8 β (Trend Weight β 182.1) Woot Woot! Iβve made it into the new decade of the 170βs. Now for the dancing back & forth over the line stage. I envision the scene of Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed in βItβs a Wonderful Lifeβ as George & Mary Bailey (before marriage) dancing to and from that line that opens to the pool. Legs dangling over the edge, poised to fall in, over and over. And they absolutely do. And I will too. Likely many times. However, Iβll try not to focus on the water but, like them, enjoy the dance. Iβm so happy today I could scream! Iβve looked over my records for the past (many) years and traditionally I gain 2-4 pounds just in November alone. And then there is Decemberβ¦. However, I am going to focus on the fact that itβs mine to keep or mine to lose. I can decide.
π¦π¦π¦π¦ 11/18- 179.4 β (Trend Weight: 181.8) A bounce back up a bit today but Iβm not sweating it. Still thrilled with recent results. I did finally scratch that itch for pizza yesterday but stayed within my calorie goal and hit all my macros. Probably not the best choice, but Iβm over that craving so it canβt lead me into a βfeeling denied bingeβ. Today Iβm back on track with healthier foods planned. My goal is plenty of water and some extra movement. Lots of sleep last night which caused a bit of a late weigh-in, but Iβm feeling rested and prepared!

π¦π¦π¦π¦ 11/19- 178.4 β (Trend Weight: 181.5) I have never been so happy to be βoverweightβ ! According to the BMI charts I am out of the βobeseβ category and into the βoverweightβ category now. This is a big step for me as itβs all about health. This diabetic/thyroid belly is starting to deflate a bit and I envision my fatty liver getting better and my visceral fat shrinking with less strangulation on my organs. I added a little something to my exercise yesterday and I finally drank more water. Both helped. My sleep has been pretty good the past couple of days too. I did go for much lower calories yesterday after the pizzeria outing the day before tilted the scale back up a bit in order to make up for it. I treated it like a bill that needed paying. Iβm out of debt on that and back to my normal macros today. It really helped that I did not have any out-of-town appointments or excursions this past week. That wonβt be the case leading into Thanksgiving.

Hi all. Still here soldering on. Had a small walk on Monday and well it seems it pinched my sciatic nerve. My energy had been improving until I failed my assessments again yesterday and it took a heavy physical toll on me so today Iβm so weak I can barely move. So I get one more shot at assessments but donβt know if I should attempt exercise before then in case it has a detrimental effect again. Itβs so hard to know with fibromyalgia what your body will do following exercise- will this perk me up or will I be bedridden? Hoping Saturday or Sunday I get some exercise- maybe just a swim? My weight is almost at my goal - so close!

we went out for dinner last night to a set meal: salad, steak, roll, yogurt, and granola for dessert.
I I tried to count calories and did not eat everything, avoided any sugar. If I was over calories, it was only by a couple of hundred at the most. I went to the gym and worked out and did weights in the morning. Depressing , as I gained 2 pounds overnight.
The way I lose weight is very disconcerting. I know weight loss is not linear, but sometimes itβs hard to deal with the fluctuations.

11/20- 179.6 β (Trend Weight: 181.5) I had a glucose drop last night and probably ate too many smarties to bring it back up. Otherwise my day and exercise were good. It seems like a lot of gain just for packs of smarties, but then again there is the technical thing that goes on with the glucose too. Today will be another good day. Iβm not giving up my 170βs, not by a long shot! I will increase my carbs slightly and see if that helps the glucose. A friend is coming to put a new battery in the dead pick-up truck today so I can get air in the tire. Itβs been sitting too long I guess. I hardly use it. Iβve never had it fixed on the spot, just at the local garage. However, itβs dead where it sits. So hopefully the repair/replacement will be okay.
π¦π¦π¦π¦ 11/21- DNW βοΈ (Trend Weight: DNW) No weigh Friday but it was a good day yesterday. Ended up with OMAD because the meal would be more calorie/carb heavy. That kept it at goal. 30 minutes of planned exercise. Horrible sleep last night due to no blood getting to my feet and toes (again). This happens several days per week. I am thankful and grateful that the past couple of nights have been good but last night was truly a nightmare. I need the opposite of elevating them and it seems there is nothing that can be done unless I just stand upright in the middle of the room and try to sleep!

11/21- DNW βοΈ (Trend Weight: DNW) No weigh Friday but it was a good day yesterday. Ended up with OMAD because the meal would be more calorie/carb heavy. That kept it at goal. 30 minutes of planned exercise. Horrible sleep last night due to no blood getting to my feet and toes (again). This happens several days per week. I am thankful and grateful that the past couple of nights have been good but last night was truly a nightmare. I need the opposite of elevating them and it seems there is nothing that can be done unless I just stand upright in the middle of the room and try to sleep!
π¦π¦π¦π¦ 11/22- 179.6 βοΈ (Trend Weight:180.8 ) Well, I was hoping for a better drop since my last weigh-in two days ago but apparently not. I was not feeling very well yesterday. Couldnβt put my finger on it but I felt too weak to even exercise. I was proud of my son though. He exercised without me and he has never done that before! I really couldnβt eat until pretty late last night when the glucose began dropping and I had to, quite quickly. Although I pre-logged, it was too elaborate of a dinner for how I felt and how quickly I needed it. I ended up with a can of soup and too many Ritz crackers. It seems like I gained last time I ate soup too. Anyhow, my calories for the day were 936, my carbs over goal but still under what a βnormal personβ eats. I donβt always understand the numbers but Iβm moving on and hoping for more cooperation from my body today. I will try to get my exercise in since Iβm feeling somewhat better but not quite 100% yet.

Hi all. My weight decided to go up again. I feel awful atm. Iβm so tired and sore. Having my 3rd reassessment tomorrow for nursing school and donβt know how Iβll do it feeling like this. I hate fibromyalgia.

@ozdeelite It's just a bit of a fluctuation for you or a small correction, I'm sure. No worries. A couple of days ago mine went up 1.5 lbs and I ate under 1000 calories that day! It happens. It will course correct again in a day or two, I'm sure. It could be cortisol stress with everything you are going through. Keep going. In the end, our bodies do not disappoint. It just needs a minute! Good luck with the assessment tomorrow. I will say a prayer AND cross fingers for you!

One on the traditional day of the 27th, and the family Feast held at my house on the 29th when everyone can attend. Because our final day for the month ends the next day on the 30th, I will not be entering a final weight for the 30th of Nov until approximately 48 hours later (around the 2nd). If I did, it would be falsely high and would show an inaccurate loss for December at the start of the month as well. So my weight posting for Nov 30th and my start weight for the December challenge will be late so it will not show false gains in Nov and false losses in Dec. I really want a true gauge on how my weight loss is going. My only other option is to cut a day off of November and report my final weight on the 29th. Weβll see how I feel about that when I have time to think about it or when I see how the food filled week is going. Becauseβ¦..This week I also have a travel day (Thanksgiving food shopping) and a birthday for my DGS on yet another day. This is not going to be an easy week to uphold any losses Iβve accomplished of late. I must hold on, tooth and nail, as best as I can. December is going to be even harder!

π¦π¦π¦π¦ 11/24- 177.6 β (Trend Weight: 180.3) My magic 7!!!! So happy to see it today. I know it wonβt last this week. I travel tomorrow and then thereβs the birthday party and two Thanksgiving Feasts coming up, all later this week. But Iβm so happy to see me starting a little further from the 180 border. Thereβs hope! I batch cooked two days ago, red beans & brown rice with simple veggies in order to change up my go-to protein and fiber sources for a few days. Last time I made this I gained weight every day until it was gone, so I ate smaller portions this time. Itβs very high calorie and high carb and itβs not my favorite, but Iβm proud that Iβm at least trying to eat a few vegetables which makes it healthier than my usual fare.
