Well it still must be satisfying and a little nostalgic to be able to wear the original set, even if it's only temporarily. But not being able to wear your Special Upgrade is near-tragedy! ๐Ÿคฃ

Is this a sign of acceptance? I don't know gym societal intricacies.

@Venus1721 LOL! I love my original set and yes! It's very nostalgic and romantic wearing it again. ๐Ÿ’– My multi year Upgrade is highly appreciated and was completely unexpected. It would truly be a tragedy to lose it ๐Ÿ˜”....so after a couple of weeks of living in fear I thought I'd try on the Original and it slid right on. Every day I'm still super excited that it fits again. ๐Ÿ˜„

I have decided that when we travel outside of our country I'm going to always wear my original set so its a positive that this happened. The world is changing so much its better to wear a smaller discreet set these days. I was not expecting this as a positive result of my weight loss.๐Ÿคญ

Cave diving probably ain't my thing. I am not excited about overhead environments. There's a few in the aquarium, but it's pretty safe.

I found a tiny leak in my drysuit on Monday too. Just a pinhole. I inflated the suit (still wearing it) and got down in the rinse tank to see if I could find bubbles. Nope. So I'll take it to the shop tomorrow in the next city south about an hour away. As long as it's there, new neck and wrist seals because they'll need 'em soon. My gas bottles will also get dropped off. One needs a hydro and visual, the other just a visual. I will probably take in my tiny bottle too - it's way out of date, but it's so SMALL at 64 cubic feet. It's an old low pressure steel 72, but it only holds 72 cubic feet if it has the "plus" stamp at hydro. They can only do that one time, then it's down to listed pressure. Some cave divers love these bottles and shove a lot more air than they are legally allowed to. I probably wouldn't mind doing that, but I won't. If I wanted to (and knew someone who would do it) I would have to change the burst disc. I watched someone overfill one of these bottles, and boy howdy was that loud. Might as well get the regulator serviced too. It's due. Since I won't have a drysuit or air bottles, might as well let them hold the regulator too.

Yeah, my bottles are steel 12 litres. They're rated to 220 bar, but for testing can go a lot higher. There are a few shops around which fill to 250 bar hot (tends to be 230-ish when it's cooled down). Some caving huts have compressors, so you can do your own fill there to whatever pressure the machine can cope with.

For cave diving, I'm restricted to the rule of sixths, so the fill pressure isn't critical; I can't do a long, deep dive with that constraint. My Monday dive was relatively long, but shallow - my max depth was about 10 metres. I came out with 150 bar in both bottles, so had loads of air left.

@springerling62 My dear friend...I am familiar with The Limited from numerous trips to the States and even I remember the quality being quite good in the 90s. I can only imagine what it was back in the late 70s! Good grief you were tiny! I definitely remember being a size 4 back in the day....but my weight was VERY DIFFERENT!

i'm still 5'4" and when my older brother got married, I was a bridesmaid. I weighed 112 pounds....a good 30 pounds less than I do now. ๐Ÿ˜„ It is literally impossible that I am "the same size" in a label that is NOTORIOUS for vanity sizing!!

๐Ÿ˜’ I'm looking at you St John Knits. Yes you...one of the worst for insisting it IS possible to have a healthy BMI AND be a Size 0. ๐Ÿ™„

So proud of you!! Look at you...rocking your gorgeous frock and needing smaller Spanx! ๐Ÿคฉ

Last week was the 55th Anniversary of an incident involving a whale.

For a few games a couple years ago, a minor league baseball team changed their name from the Eugene Emeralds to the Eugene Exploding Whales.

I first heard about that when I read Dave Barry's piece about it. There are only a few other times in my life that I've laughed that hard at something, and maybe the only one where it was coupled with a bit of empathetic horror. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

@EliseTK1 I'm so Proud of you!!! It's a wonderful feeling to be successful and also want to inspire others who would like to be healthier. Congratulations on your inspiring success!!

My NSV is that I believe for the first time....or at least it's been YEARS! i've REACHED 100 DAYS OF CHECKING IN ๐Ÿ˜„. I don't log my calories but I log my exercise and my weight and measurements as well as read posts. Actually, next I'm going to check my charts to see how I've done overall in the past 100 days. I'm motivated to go at least 83 more days. That would give me HALF A YEAR of logging in! ๐Ÿ˜‡
