Okay we did this in class the other day and i was just curious what you all would do.
You are in the Upper Elite class(Sssh just pretend) You are going on a date with a spouse, fiancé or girl/boyfriend. And you have a total of $480 to spend however you choose(there are NO rules). What would you do and where would you go? You have to estimate how much of it you would spend and state what you would buy with it
And.....go!

Depends on what date. I don't think having access to any more or less money would make me do anything specifically different.

We were a LOT more detailed in class!!0 -
Forget expensive food. Get some good food for around 20 bucks (2 for 20 or something) and spend the rest on lots of "fun" things to enhance the already fun time. :smokin:
perhaps even go to a club while on those fun things!! :drinker:0 -

I have paid $480 for a date.
It was $180 charged on my card when I called the "Modeling Agency".
Then when the "Model" arrived, she negotiated $200 extra. Halfway through the "date" she wanted another $100 for the "dessert".0 -
Mmmmm I spent $300+ on a date once. Dinner cruise, then a winebar, ordered 2 bottles.
Fun times.
Yea... she pretty much had to after that.0 -
I would take my hubby and go to ruth chris, order app dinner and dessert, go to a movie or two then go shopping afterwards and buy shoes and purses while he buys hats and watches0

My boyfriend and I have Super Dates We take turns planning a Super Date that the other person doesn't know about. Last time was my turn so I took him out to a fantastic brunch (he loves a good bloody mary) and then we went to Golden Gate park for a segway tour (yeah we are geeks, hehe, but it was soooooo much fun!!!!). Then after that I took him to our favorite place for a snack and a drink. Then we walked around a bit. Then we went to an awesome dinner in San Francisco.. then to see a band play some Jazz. The last part of the date I took him to see Darrell Hammond at a comedy club.
We were so freaking tired after that date.... but it was so much fun! I probably spent that much throughout the day
That was my idea of a great date, hehe.0 -
$100 on dinner
$300 on seats at a sporting event (football or baseball, depending on the season)
$80 on gas, parking, tolls, etc0 -
Cocktails, Appetizer, Dinner, Wine, Dessert/After dinner drinks, and you could easily be past that at most high end restaurants honestly.0

Go for a nice sushi dinner (around $150 to $200) then to a concert or play. Good tickets could easily take the rest.0

Ya'll are crazy!! I would say frick spend 20 bucks at In-N-Out on burgers, fries and shakes. Then rent a Redbox movie and watch it at home. Then bank the rest....shooooot!0
