Ride it out or what?

Ok, so I have reached the infamous plateau!! I have lost a total of 8 pounds....then stopped losing. I am staying under my calorie goal almost everyday. If I do go over, it is less than 50 calories. I have changed up excercises, and I am also eating my excercise calories so my body doesn't go into starvation mode. I have been the same weight for 2 weeks now. I have not gained one ounce, nor lost one.
I also am watching my sodium, and my cholesterol. We have done a complete lifestyle change. I only shop on the outside walls of the grocery store where all the good stuff is for the most part. (produce, meat and dairy) I am drinking water more, and nothing.
Suggestions?...........
