    Good luck everyone, my race isn't till February, I wish there was something fun to run close to home for me.
    Guess I should get online and see if there is!

    I'm running in the 200 mile Bourbon Chase relay in Kentucky this weekend.

    Those relays are supposed to be a BLAST! Are you on a competitive team or just running for fun?

    I am! I'm running a 10k. Unfortunately weather predictions have the temp in mid to high 80s and the start isn't until noon.

    So if I don't melt... I'll be running!

    Ouch and ouch to both the temps and start time. Slow it down and carry water!

    I jumped on a mixed open team last month and based on our estimated time to finish and the results from last year, we have a shot of finishing in the top 10 for that division. The team is more for fun, but if we do well, that's just a bonus.
