    YAY!!!!! I'm in CT. so a "CT. Whale" fan, with only player allegiance to NYR! I just love the sport. Our 12 yo daughter just started to play on a team this year! LOVE IT! CONGRATS TO YOUR BRUINS!!!!!

    My Pens team is playing a west coast swing to start the season. I can't watch them play until 10pm. :( and they won't be back in Pittsburgh for their home opener until the 11th. :( The schedule maker needs shot...

    As an Atlanta, GA resident, I'm super sad that we lost our NHL team this year and I won't be able to go to games anymore. I might travel to Nashville or Tampa during the season to catch a game or two.

    Thrashers are no more...Tells you how much I keep up with them. I lived in the ATL when they first joined the league in the mid 90s.

    The Avalanche don't start till Saturday. Besides, I'll have a hard time getting into hockey till the MLB playoffs are over.

    I do agree that the NHL has some weird scheduling. The Avs have like 2 home games the first month of the season.
