I have been working out faithfullly for two months. I lost 2lbs and 7 inches. I do cardio on a treadmill 5 days a week, weight lift 3 days a week. I drink only water, no juice, no soda ( miss my coke) and no coffee. I dont eat fast food or junk food. I eat chicken, turkey, fish, vegetable and fruits. i bust my butt in the gym for a month and lost 2 lbs. When does the scale number shrink? What am i doing wrong? Any idea
thanks
thanks

well I think you are missing the point..its not only the number on the scale..but the lost inches..7 inches in 2 months is awesome..0

thanks. I'm trying to stay focus. this is my first time ever trying to loose weight.0

You're building muscle, which weighs more than fat. Plus, a pound of muscle takes up much less space than a pound of fat - hence the 7 inches lost. Keep it up, you're doing just fine.0

You're probably not building muscle if you're losing weight; 2 lbs is still losing weight. You are probably losing fat and maintaining muscle and retaining water from the lifting.0

7 inches is awesome...keep doing what you are doing and feel proud of what you have achieved0

i lift 40 lbs free wieghts. i do 4 sets of ten. I lift 60 lbs with my legs and I do 4 sets of 10. I do 60 sit ups. Last month i couldnt do no more than 100

I agree...7 inches is fantastic, and it means that your body composition is changing dramatically from fatty to muscley. My recommendation would be to keep up the good work, enjoy your smaller self and be patient with the scale0

for some reason, 2lb and 7 inches don't match up in my pea brain...yeah, I think losing inches is definitely more significant than the number on the scale. Nobody would ask you how much you weigh but they will notice how your clothes fit.0

You are burning fat while maintaining or gaining muscle. I wouldnt worry about it. Just make sure you eat enough to maintain muscle growth0
