I do, but don't record it except for one day a week - every Sunday.0

Yes I do weigh myself everyday during the week. I know they say it isn't good to weigh yourself daily because it will drive you crazy, but I just can't help it!!! My weight changes to often for me not to know what it is. So no, you are not the only one.0

you are not the only one !! I DO TOO
I only record once a week though !!

I do but only record it 1 day a week0

I can't weigh myself every day. If I did, I would be an emotional basket case from seeing the fluctuations each day. I'm enough of an emotional basket case on my own, thank you very much! LOL0

Yes, I do. Sometimes more than once a day. My husband has threatened to take the scales away. :noway:0

I also weigh myself everyday but only record once per week.0

I weigh daily but only record on Fridays. Anything within 3 lbs of my current low weight I write off to water any more than that I take a look at what I've done and adjust0

i don't cause i would go crazy.. and something bad hits it would drive me straight back into the arms of my Mcdonalds..0

It's way too tormenting to weigh yourself everyday. It can seriously add mental strain and affect your diet/exercise. One day your down 1lb, the next up 2lbs, then next down 1.5lb, etc. I keep it to a minimum of 1x a week to about once every other week.0

I do weigh myself every morning but I only record it when I lose ;-)))))0

Yes Daily...I want to know quickly if I gained anything..0

I do too! at first the fluctuations really bothered me, but i knew the body was science as well as emotiona so I decided to embrace it and learn from it.
It does help me see trends and keep me on track.......cause I never want to gain back what i had to lose.

If I weighed myself everyday I would go crazy. I only weigh and record on Mondays.0

Not every day....but most days!
I also record it everytime....but then again I'm a COMPLETE chart geek....line charts....pie charts....if it is trackable, I'll put in in a chart! Ha!
I also have a digital scale that tells me even if I only lost 0.2 lbs....any progress at all makes my day!0 -
LOL hahahah... that use to happend to me before @ jisdashyt0
-
I do cuz it helps me stay on track but I record it every Sat.0
-
nope...once a week - same day - same time!0

I have been weighing everyday for a while but I'm going to stop. I started weight training and taking cardio classes at the gym and my weight seriously went wacky. I actually gained 4 pounds the first week. I felt extremely depressed and felt like punching the wall until I weighed myself at the end of that same week and found a 2 pound weight loss. I jumped up and down at that point but that roller coaster is too much for me. 1 or 2 times a week is max for me now. I put the darn scale in the closet until its time.

i used to and it's all good when you're losing at a fast rate, but once it slows down all the weighing got frustrating for me. i stopped weighing myself and just go by how my clothes fit. i purposely saved a pair of jeans that are one size too big so i can check to make sure they're still too big every few weeks or so...0

<~~~Total scale *kitten*... :blushing:0

I used to (get me- I've only changed this routine in the last 10 days!). But as has been said, I found it mentally draining. Not so much the berating myself when I'd 'gained', but from analysing every single fluctuation- oh that's water weight, that'll be sodium, that's cos I worked out hard & my body's repairing muscles, that's because I drank a lot and my liver's too busy expelling the toxins to work on anything else....I can actually feel myself getting tense just typing these!
So I've decided to just go once a week, whatever the scales say, that's what I log. It has been the nicest week I've had on MFP. Truly. I would have liked to go once a month, but I'm doing Turbo Fire, and enjoy logging my weight / measurements once a week. Maybe if that novelty wears off...
I'd say each to their own, if you find yourself obsessing like I've detailed, maybe a change is worth looking at!0 -
My opinion is that weighing yourself daily is a bit depressing and can affect your diet/exercise plan if you are not achieving the goals that you have set for yourself. I personally weigh myself once a week. I have just resubscribed to MyFitnessPal, so hopefully I will stick to it this time :-)0

I too weigh myself daily but only record on Mondays.0

I weigh every morning & record when I see a new lower weight, no matter what day of the week it is.0
