  • Hi I am also a Mum trying to loose weight. I know how hard it is trying to fit exercise around your new life. I have been steadily getting fitter over the past two years however I haven't lost weight I have actually gained a further two kilos. This doesn't mean I am getting fatter as I look much slimmer and have increased muscle tone, it just means that I have more muscle now. What exercise are you doing? The trick is to find something you enjoy and to stick with it, if you get bored just change it. I hate the eliptical and rowing machines at the gym so I avoid them like the plague and if I am prescribed them by my instructor I ask for an alternative. If you don't enjoy what you are doing it is going to be so difficult to motivate yourself to continue.
