ladies 6 week minimalist challenge

Day 1
1) Deadlift – 2×6 (2 sets, 6 reps each), and 1×8
2a) Standing one arm dumbbell push press – 2×6-8, 1×10
2b) Chin-ups – 2×6-8, 1×10-12
3) Farmer walks – 5 sets x 30-50 yards

Day 2
1a) Reverse lunge – 2×8, 1×12-15
1b) Inverted row – 2×8, 1×10-12
2a) Back extension – 3×10-15
2b) Push-ups – 2×8, 1×10-12
3) Waiter carry – 4 sets each arm for 30-50 yards

Day 3
1) Squat – 2×6, 1×10
2a) Parallel bar dips – 2×6, 1×8-10
2b) Dumbbell row – 2×8, 1×10-12
3) Farmer walks – 3 sets x 60-80 yards

    what weights are recommended for these? I have 5 and 10lb dumbbells :p

    Depends on your strength levels. If you don't have access to any heavier dumbbells I'd switch over to carrying water jugs or backpacks full of books (hardcover of course).

    The article explains it but if it says you do 8 reps then you should get to 8 and maybe have one more rep left in the tank. If more than that then you need to up the weight. So yeah, probably not enough there?

    And yes there are alternatives to use, but obviously harder to measure and also can be clumsy to hold.
