I got a call from my ortho surgeon's office yesterday and they found a cartilage donor for me! I can't tell you how excited I am! My life has been on hold for the last 2 years due to excruitiating knee pain. I haven't been able to work out and have gained weight, not to mention have been very depressed about it all. I'm scheduled for a knee osteotomy on October 24 and after the initial recovery time (3 months), I can start to slowly incorporate exercise back into my life and get this weight off FOR GOOD!!! Just had to share!! :bigsmile:
