Indeed I have found that sausage in dishes tends to bring out flavor! Be it sliced up in some pasta....or sliced up with onions tomatoes green peepers etc. Sausage is Awesome!!! Hell even a plain ol Hot Dog in between a bun is awesome!
Lets salute the encased meat otherwise known as a wiener, sausage, hot dog!!!

So whats your favorite!?!?!?!

Italian
Polish
Chorizo(the deli kind)
Hot dog

SHake and bake!

    I like chicken & apple sausage - it's a brat type...

I do have to make sure it's nitrate free - in CO that's not too hard though!

For specific dishes, I love a spicy chorizo type....and italian sausage is a must with a good cheese platter ;-)

LOVE this thread - DH owns a sausage shop in our town.

Apple brats - pork brat w/ applesauce and cinnamon right in it, so it's got a hint of sweet to it - are my all time favorite of the 17 (I think) different kinds that he makes. Mushroom and swiss are a really close second. Natural casing so it snaps when you bite into it, right off the grill...HEAVENLY. No condiments needed!

Yeah, I've only ever seen Lorne sausage there! (Didn't even realize you couldn't get it elsewhere until we went to shop for breakfast stuff at my in-laws. Of course, no haggis either -- the heathens.)

I love the chicken apple sausages from Sam's. They are very good and pretty healthy. I love that they have an oh-so faint sweet taste and they stay juicy when you cook them. MMMMMM!

You can get Lorne in England... some butchers sell it... as does Iceland (the frozen food store not the Nordic country ... although it might as I've never been there to check it out!)

And Haggis... well it's a pudding, but not really classified as a sausage... similarly black pudding and fruit pudding.

Gotta stop as all this is making me fancy a nice big fry up!
