Never heard of it until I became a member here. Have you tried it? What did you think of it and what were your results?

Mon- 1700
Tues - 1500

I am set up on 1200 per day but I like the plan that you made, I will have to take a look at that calculator0 -
If u are set on 2 lb loss per week, you might want to take it up to 1 lb, it will allow u the wiggle room so you don't go below 1200 per day- I am not saying 1200 is the magic number but it is widely said to not be good to go below 1200. Everything I have read says that you will loose more than the 1 lb anyway!

great article! thanks for all the info0 -
Your welcome, I figured I have nothing to loose for 1 week, maybe 2, as I only lost 2pm in the last 3 weeks anyway doing everything right!0
-
I don't do it on purpose but sometimes it just happens that I eat under my allowance some days and over on others.
Now that I am getting close to where I want to be I have thought about maybe building in one low day (1200 net) and one high day (1800 net) a week. My normal allowance at the moment is 1300.
Has anyone else done this?0 -
Well out of experimenting I weighed this morning and after 1 high day and one goal day I have lost 2 lb! Not recording this as it might change over the week, so we shall see0

I'm quite interested in giving this a go but there's a few things I'm a bit confused about. Firstly, should it be high/low/high/low or high/low/low/high/low/low? Also, do you eat your exercise calories back? My allowance is just over 1400 so how much higher should I be going on a high day?
Edit: Never mind. Just read the article. I'm still interested to know whether you eat your exercise calories back, though.0 -
I'm thing about doing this too...I need a change & to break a plateau!0
-
I don't, my reasons are that even with a HRM, I feel unsure over what I burn. My other reason is that when u eat healthily it is quite hard to eat high cal numbers so I would rather eat well than unnecessarily eat more. And thirdly I exercise at 6 pm mostly ( not on Sunday's!) and so I don't want to have a very large evening meal0

I would do it as NET calories and yes I would definitely eat them- especially if you have 20lb or less to lose.0 -

I might try this. Going to read the article when I get off work.0
