I've gained on and off the same 5 pounds since I've started Ripped in 30 a week ago. I'm not sure, but is this because I'm gaining muscle and losing fat?

not likely in a weeks time. Give it some time....if you stick with it, and are mindful of your dietary intake you'll see a change.0

When starting a new routine your muscles will swell and retain fluid. Once your body gets used to it it will drop off.0

I agree with Kytten. Your body is retaining fluid/acids due to the intensity of the work out. Give it time and it will pass. I also need to take my own advice and not freak out when that happens! HTH.0
