Why can't I just tell him no?

    oh I am sure he knew it was wrong, I just think he didn't care. I have talked to several people since our split and it turns out that this is his MO. I am not the first one he has done this to and there have been at least two since our split.

    I talked to his SIL too. I told her that she is a treasured friend of mine. Itold her if her and I are to continue to get together and be friends then there can be no mentioning of his name. She said she is glad that I mentioned that because she worried about talking about him to me because she knows how much he hurt me and was worried that I still was willing to discuss him. I sent her a copy of this thread so she would understand what was going through my mind.

    I am so happy for you and proud of you. You are definitely making great progress in moving on with your life. Continue to have your girl nights out and live life a little. Definitely maintain your friendship with the SIL just be careful not to let him use it to his advantage. You already know that he won't change so there can be NO going back no matter how much he might insist he will. Keep your heart open because you never know when the right guy might pop into your life.
