So for about 3 weeks ive been at the same weight i go up and down highest ill get is 180 lowest 176. It never stays the same But i eat around 1500 calories I burn off 1000 before that i was only doing 700 calories a day and eating 1200. Just seems like if i do anything over 2 weeks my body gets use to it and stops losing. What else can i do cause i still have about 35 lbs i need off ASAP! And its so frustrating to go to the gym and work your butt off just for nothing, ( and i know its not for nothing cause its helping me maintain my weight but im trying to lose it not maintain it GGGRRRRR

you said you are eating 1500 and burning 1000? You should be eating way more. This site encourages you to eat back your exercise cals. Initially I didnt and lost then plateaued. When I started eating more I started losing 1-2 lbs a week and still am :-)

Be patient! Your body is adjusting. I spent 5 weeks knocking around from 194 to 197 while working my a** off at the gym and eating between 1200-1500 calories--terribly depressing!

Then, literally overnight, I dropped to 188, and I've been knocking around the 188-189 range for about 5 days now. It WILL comeoff!

Gotta eat way more. Your body may be in starvation mode and is holding on to the extra fat. Eat those 1000 calories you are burning and you will start losing again. Just make sure you eat the right things.

Where are your calories coming from?
    Protein, carbs, fats?
My nutritionist had me up my protein and decrease my carbs. I've been able to drop about a pound a week.
I looked at your profile, and saw you are a military wife (one of the unsung heros in my book!)
If you are living on base, check your resources there for nutritional advice.
I can tell you what works for my body - a nutritionist can tell you what should work for yours.
My hubby spent 13 months in Korea, (Army) - he still remembers that time fondly even though it was difficult to be away from his family.
