All week I was down 2 to 3 lbs and on weigh in morning I'm up 2lbs. How is this possable? I didn't do anything different.

Scales are known for being fickle. They can be coy and flirtatious and then turn around and be rude, cold and disrespectful.

    Break up with that loser.

Find a nice, warm tape measure to hug you and tell you what you want to hear.

    blessings.

Kick the scales, tell it you hate it and ignore it for a couple of weeks. It'll soon get the message.

That happened to me one too many times, so since I weigh every day (yes, I'm one of those) I started recording every day and on weigh-in day taking the average of the week as my "official" weight.

The scale is less likely to end up in smashed up bits and pieces that way.

Love this! My tape measure has been there for me through good times and bad, and never lies.

You are not alone - I like the idea of kicking it and I like the idea of the average. I found that depending on what I ate on the eve of the weigh in tips it up or down. Any beef product typically stays on for a while and does not help the numbers. I started going for fish dishes and cut off my eating early. Then I just stopped. As long as over a month my net went down, I was happy! That scale can't steal my joy!

If you ever find happiness by hunting for it, you will find it, as the old woman did her lost spectacles, safe on her own nose all the time. ~Josh Billings

I love this saying  and I don't weight in every day for that very reason. I like the ideal of the tape measure, and kicking the scale might feel to!

I have the love hate relation with my scale as most of you do. But, I am still a strong believer in the scale. I have just learned to track the flucuations. My biggest judge is my skinny jeans....
