I just made these with 1/2 cup rolled oats, 4 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1 Tablespoon cocoa, 1 packet of truvia, and 2 tablespoons ground vanilla bean coffee beans ❤❤❤ I put cupcake liners in a cupcake pan and put 2 tablespoons of mix (it made 9 cupcakes) into each one
I preheated the oven to 350 degrees and after I put the pan in the oven I backed the temp off to 200 degrees and baked for about 20 minutes
I will definitely be making these again but might try making a sweeter version by substituting the protein powder for chocolate chips (The calories should be about the same❤)
Thanks for the awesome recipe idea!

You sure caught a lot of people's attention. Ilove the sound of the gewy/chocolate bar. Thanks

Usually I don't like chocolate but those actually sound quite good. Wonder if I could find something to use those remaining yolks with.
    Will try! Thanks!

Mush some yolk in your hair, leave on for 20 minutes, rinse out in the shower. Just not really hot water or you get scrambled egg invyour hair. Very moisturizing, lots of protein. :-) or make a lemon pie with it, no merangue on it though.

I made these and even used 1/2 of oats and they didn't turn out right...super soggy and eggy. Had anyone had success with these?

I made these and they turned out pretty gross. Maybe more detailed instructions?

I mixed these up and could tell by the mixture I had that they weren't going to be thick and chewy. Logged on to see if anyone had actually tried them and all the posts said they were really gross.

I went back into the kitchen and dumped my mixture into the blender and started adding more oatmeal ( I used the raw oats not the cooked) Ended up adding an additional 1 1/2 cups. Blended well. Baked in 350 degree oven for about 18 min. Time would depend on the size of your pan. I used a 9 in. cash iron skillet sprayed with Pam. They are about 1/2 in. thick and chewy. Think they could use more cocoa and Splenda as they aren't very chocolate. Haven't figured the calories yet but shouldn't be too bad as I only added additional oats.

Just think this recipe needs a little more work.

I just don't want to use five whole eggwhites for one treat. Seems excessive to make just one serving at a time.
  • Sounds delicious!
