Just signed onto MFP

I just got started on MFP because I need lots of encouragement and support as I journey on to my goal weight. I have been on a low calorie diet for 3 weeks and I am down 17 pounds. I am a senior citizen with a lot of health issues and have been told by many people that it will take me twice as long to lose weight than younger people, I want to beat the odds and reach my goal weight of i4o pounds. I am going to take it one day at a time and I am going to write down every bite of food that I eat and drink. I plan to read posts every day to receive help and support from other MFP members.
