Happy April Fool's Day!!!

There's been no foolin around with this group on your dedication to this challenge...all of you are AWESOME!!!

My day yesterday wasn't too bad...a bit over on cals, and no cardio...but I did drink plenty of water and had an hour training session. :drinker:

So far I've had a healthy breakfast and will definitely get in some cardio today...not sure if it will be the precor or maybe a run...

I hope each of you have a wonderful Wednesday!!! :flowerforyou:

I have hit a plateau and don't know how to break it. I have changed my workout but that is not helping.
But I am having a good week hard workout and under on my calories all week. Will continue the workout and hope for the best. Hope yall are having a great week !!!!:drinker:

Your plateau could be from not enough calories, as you mentioned you have been under all week. I would try eating a couple hundred more each day and see if that might help. :flowerforyou:

Happy Fool's Day! I wasn't fooling around this week and worked out well, today was official weigh-in day and it showed a 1.5 pound loss, so that means I have 4.5 eggstra to lose, I better make it in the next 10 days

Let me also re-post my measurements update (that I posted in the green team thread):

    STATS FOR MARCH
    Weight lost: 14 lbs
    neck: -0.2"
    bicep: -0.6"
    forearm: 0
    chest: -4"
    waist: -3.2"
    hips: -1.2"
    thigh: -1.2"
    calf: -0.4"
a total of 1'4" in a month but why did it have to be mostly from my chest  well, i have lost all the darn back fat i had, so i guess i can't really complain :blushing:

I don't have my complete measurements stats throughout the journey, I took them on Feb 1st for the first time (so my first 10 days are missing) and stick to measuring on the 1st of every month now. It doesn't really matter as long as I am obviously shrinking all the time :drinker:

i just had some success this week breaking my 6 month plateau by cycling my calories. try this website: http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm#

type in all your info and calculate. then click 7-day zig zag, and use those caloric limits and see if that helps. i've been doing it for about a week and a half and have found that it is also useful in holding me accountable for logging calories and staying on top.

    hope that helps!:drinker:

So maybe if I go over my caloires every couple days that might help break the plateau. I think I will try that for the rest of this week and next.
    Thanks for the tips:flowerforyou:

    happy april fool's day! :flowerforyou:

i think this week has been going along alright so far- i have been lacking a little bit on the motivation to exercise still since the weekend...but back on it tonight! i think i'll kickbox

only 10 more days to go! let's all step it up a notch to meet our goals! :drinker: :drinker:
  • HI EVERYONE,
THINK I AM GONNA TAKE A REST DAY AND HIT IT HARDER TOMORROW. I THOUGHT i WAS ON A PLATEAU AFTER GAINING 3 LBS BACK. BUT YESTERDAY I STEPPED ON THE DREADED MONSTER AND IT READ 196 - DOWN 14 POUNDS IN 28 DAYS AND 7.5 POUNDS SINCE STARTING THIS LOSE THE EGGSTRA. SO ALL THAT EXERCISING AND WATCHING YOUR CALORIES DOES PAY OFF IN THE LONG RUN. TO THOSE ON A PLATEAU , I SUGGEST UPING YOUR CALORIES A LITTLE AND EXERCISING, EXERCISING , ............... i WILL REGRET TAKING A DAY OFF BUT HARD NIGHT LAST NIGHT AT WORK.

HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY - CATCH YOU TONIGHT BEFORE I GO TO WORK.

Great job on all the weight loss for everyone!! Did pretty well yesterday. Went over on my calories by 100 but will blame that on mother in laws and sending home homeade cookies. Did 60 min on the tread mill and then hit the weights yesterday. So overall a good day.

Did really well yesterday. Started my TOM today, so i'm not going to weigh and get discouraged by it. On track for today too! Good job everyone!

 Happy April Fools Ladies! :flowerforyou:

Congrats to everyone having wonderful successes! :drinker: Keep up all of your hard work to those facing challenges! You'll get there soon!

Yesterday wasn't too horrible of a day - although I ended up eating MOST of my exercise calories but still stayed under 1900 for the day, so I suppose that's not too bad. Did ZUMBA last night...crazy work out!

Tonight I think I'm going to do some Billy Blanks Tae Bo Boot Camp at the house along with BL Level 1 Power Sculpt. Heading to the movies with a friend tonight, so I've gotta make sure it gets done before I leave! Tonight will bring me to day 10 of 17! I'm definitely gonna reach my goal for that - however that 5 lb goal may not quite be reached for this challenge, but like we always say - any loss still brings me that much closer to the ultimate goal! :embarassed:

    Happy Hump Day Ya'll!

    hi everyone~

today's weigh in showed a 3.6 loss! i was surprised with that, but hey, i'll take it! maybe it was part of the plateau i had recently. anyway, looks like everyone is doing good! keep at it, 11 more days til bunny day! we can do it! take care of YOU every day!!
  • Well, I must say I have had an exceptional week!! *patting myself on the back*
I started the week weighing in at 307, which I assumed was a mistake since TOM was visiting. Well, I worked out Monday night to Billy Blanks tae-bo and when I stepped on the scale on Tuesday I was at 305!! Which meant I hit the 25 pound mark in about 3 months!! So, I worked out Tuesday to Billy Blanks and when I stepped on the scale this morning it read 303!! Now, that is not official until Monday but by then I might have lost even more!! I'm sticking with my calories and drinking my water!! But, I haven't seen a number that low in quite awhile so I was pretty happy!! I also worked out with Billy Blanks today too so I am doing good!!!
Congrats everyone else...except sickypoo I hope you feel better soon!! Keep up the good work!!

Good Job guys! I have had a great couple of days, and the scale is reflecting that, which makes me happy. Today I met a lady at work who walks on her lunch break. She invited me to walk with her, which I did.....and I am dead. We were doing a 14 minute mile walking. Turns out she run's marathons. Yikes. I think I am going to skip the gym tonight after my crazy 3+ mile walk, and the DH doesn't have school tonight, so we can have some time together.
