Under cal. on exercise days, over on non exercise days

Hello All,

This a quick question

I seem to always go over calories (ranging from 100-400) on my non exercise days, I'm short and near my goal weight so in order to loose a pound a week MFP suggests I only eat 1250 calories.
On the days that I do exercise days ( I rotate weights, longer runs, and an interval training) I seem to be under calorie goal (ranging from 100-400) again.

Do you think it will balance out? Is it okay, meaning likely to lead to sensible weight loss, if I overeat on some days and don't always eat back my exercise calories? I haven't lost any weight in about 2 weeks and am anxious to make a change if necessary.

Sorry if this has been posted before

thanks for your thoughts
Meagan

If you're near your goal you should set it for 1/2 pound per week.

You'll get more calories and this will no longer be an issue!

Sounds like you need to adjust your exercise days to the days you eat more :)

Sorry - that was a joke and probably not helpful. I think if you're balancing it out and getting proper nutrition it's not a problem. This is coming from someone who is likely going to come in way under my goal today and I worked out. So, that being said, this is only my opinion - I have no facts to back it up.
