Hi all,

I took my first ever Zumba class this morning and WOW did I love it!!!!!!! I feel amazing right now. My question is, how do I translate that into my daily Exercise Diary? I searched the database for a Zumba entry and didn't see one (although the Wii fit stuff is there which I thought was pretty cool :-D )

Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome!
Thank you! :-)

was hoping someone would ask that question :) I used slimnastics/jazzercise to base it on -- thought it was the closest match for the amount of exertion. Anyone else?

You can add a new entry into the database for Zumba and you can use this website to calculate the amount of calories burned

  • I created my own Zumba class Excercise, But I wear a HR monitor so I know what My burn is after every class.. Is there a dance category or aerobic dance category on there? It could fall under that..

If you have a heart rate monitor you can use this site to convert your average heart rate during your workout into calories burned.

You can search for "Dancing, aerobic, ballet or modern, twist" and log that. I typically burn @ 400 calories in a Zumba class. I LOVE Zumba!
