Lunch ideas

Options
Hello
I'm back on my fitness pal after a few months of I can't be bothered!
I've started again today and nearly had a heart attach when I saw how many calories were in my cheese and pickle sandwich!
I'm at home all day as I currently don't have a job. I really need lunch ideas that taste nice and are low in calories!
I don't always want to have sandwiches and salads, please help me with some yummy ideas!

Thank you
Hannah :)

Are you close to a Trader Joe's? They have a "Reduced Guilt" Pizza Primavera (frozen) that is awesome. They also have individual servings of mac & cheese that are low cal and made with whole wheat pasta. Both are a go-to for me in a pinch.

    Good luck!

I like burritos, beans lettuce, tomato, a little sour cream and salsa. and shredded cheese. serve with a salad. I do it so my calories are under 500 for lunch

Egg white scramble sandwich on whole wheat bread or Ezekial 4:9 bread
    Broth based tomato soup
Grilled chicken salad w/ feta cheese and balsamic vinegar/olive oil dressing
Peanut butter w/ fresh slice strawberries or bananas on whole wheat

    These are just a few....

I love Kashi GoLean cereal (not Crunch, but the one with the fiber twigs) for lunch. When I eat this I do not ever get that mid-afternoon slump and I don't need an afternoon snack. I eat 1 1/2 cups and 1% milk so it ends up a little less than 300 calories.

Carrots and hummus with bell peppers or other dippable veggies!!

Soup and salads are my regulars. Another favorite lunch for me is Tuna and White Bean Salad:

1 1/2 cups chopped peeled cucumber (1 medium)
    1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 (15.5-ounce) can white kidney beans, rinsed and drained
2 (6-ounce) cans chunk light tuna, drained
1 (2-ounce) jar diced pimiento, drained [I use roasted red peppers]

    Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; toss well to coat.
