Im 5.47 and my goal weight is 86 lbs.
It's a bit "too thin" for some people, but its my idea of perfection.
I'm sorry. Am I reading this right? You're 5'4 and would like to weigh 86 lbs?
i though id read that wrong too. i looked at the diary- its a 300 calorie allowance a day diary so the above statement is correct. everyone has their own idea of perfection...........
But some ideas are not necessarly healthy or correct. At 86 pounds you are talking about probably going into hospital.0 -

5'1" goal weight ~115 have approx 5 pounds to go, but on the other hand when I do my body fat again if it is below 16% I do not care if I am 125, 120 or 115 I will have reached a goal I never thought possible. So we will see at years end :-)0

remember numbers do not always show your progress .... remember the inches losts too :-) Sometimes the scale might not be moving but you are gaining muscle and losing fat so your inches lost will be greater than your weight loss..... sometimes we lose sight of just being healthy :-) Keep up the great work everyone.0

Personally I think the BMI chart is BS. Between being in the military, having a large frame (according to the wrist-width-to-height ratio), and being 5'6, there's no way I can weigh between 115 and 154 pounds. I'm 177 now and I think I look great. I have the blood pressure readings of an athlete. I would be perfectly content in the 160s. If I get to where I'm "supposed" to be according to the BMI chart, peachy. :drinker:
I feel the same as this. I am 176 at the minute and i have a size 10 waist but a size 16-18 hips. There is no way I could get down to something like 145 without looking ill. I have major clavicles already. Aiming to reduce my hips but if I start looking to thin on top I will have to stop.

i'm a "short" 5'5" and currently hover in the low 150s...haven't picked my ultimate goal weight yet but this is really making me think about it...think if i can get anywhere below 140 i'd be ecstatic but ultimately i'm thinking about 132-34??0
