My child's first day of middle school is monday and i'm really worried...

The weather is getting extremely frigid and i'm not sure I want my child to wait outside for the bus. Since our bodies are made up a great amount of water, i'm afraid my child will freeze solid and i have NO IDEA how to unthaw a child. I don't worry so much in the summer because I can stop her from direct sunlight by putting a coat around her and a hat, but in winter I just have no idea what to do....

Help... :(

You could hire a person to hold the coat over her all day.....

  • My daughter is in middle school and it is snowing today so I made her dad drive her rather than have her wait outside for the bus!

I'm not smart enough for this, I didn't even graduate high school myself.

Some people really need to take a course in parenting...

When your children freeze solid you light them on fire! This is simple science. How do people not understand this??

buy a tauntaun and stuff her in there, it may smell bad, but it should keep her from freezing.
Add wheels to the legs and now she's portable

Children are not as fragile as they seem you know lol. In -40 degree celsius weather, my 9th grader wears a sweat shirt

You ever forget a quarter in your pant pocket and have it come out in the spin cycle? Assuming a 100 lb kid, that's almost 8000 quarters banging around in there.

Maybe i'll just trade my kid for 8000 quarters, seems alot easier than parenting...

Well i do say....i certainly would not make THAT much noise.....im more cushioned that a quarter! I assume so is she. So it all works out!

Want to know what you can get for 8000 quarters? 20,000 dimes!

I am confident some parents would argue that 8000 quarters in a dryer is peace and quiet when compared with their kids.

Since you like to quilt in your spare time, perhaps you can make her a super duper non freezing blanket and hat set .... Almost like the one you made for me, but not so thick....

    Just my thoughts!!

ya could always dress her up like the mitchelin man so that she is so wrapped up she cant move.... then cant even leave the house let alone get cold from the outside.........she's more likely to get dehydrated and colapse from being too hot but then you could always put her in the fridge for a wee while to cool off..........just a thought!!! lol x
