Hello my name is Tim, I successfully lost a ton of weight when I was in highschool. I used to weigh about 240 lbs and could barely lift the bar on bench in highschool. Then my second semester sophomore year I went down to about 200 lbs and could bench around 225 lbs. My football coaches didnt like it but I loved the new me. You always hear about how you can't lose weight that quickly... but clearly I did. Perfectly healthy as well. Now a days im a college junior and I still get frustrated with my weight. I'm about 6'2" 195 lbs. My "body numbers" are 7, 22, 7. Thats about a 7% body fat. All in my midsection though... I ride my bike about 10 miles a day, eat about 2000 calories a day, lift heavy weights for about 1 hour a day, and drink 200 ounces of water a day. Now all I want to do is get this stubborn body fat off of me from the midsection. But its been stuck there for my entire life, some help on what to do would be awesome. It just wont come off...

You're already below the optimal range of 12-15% for men. If you go below 5% you're endangering your life. 5% is the bare bones minimum to provide energy to your body.0

Absolutely true. Dude, focus on maintaining 7% and stop trying to cut below it. You're already in the range a professional or olympic athlete might be in.0 -
I play as a point guard for my school. 5% is average for an athlete. I weigh 195 lbs at 7% fat, 61% of that 7% is in my midsection. If I lose only that midsection, I will still be in the "healthy" zone for and at my goal. So any help with how to do that would be great0

Just gonna suggest you research this before you hurt yourself. 5% is the absolute bottom to maintain health. 12-15% is an athlete. There are multiple sources to support this. Sorry but your information is incorrect.0 -
Sorry it was 6%.
