30 day shred?

I was just reading some of the conversations, and noticed someone mentioning the 30 day shred? Can someone please tell me what that is? If it will speed up weight loss I would love to hear more about it! Thanks

It's a Jillian Michaels DVD.
It's tough...I just got it and have done 4 days worth. Still pretty sore.0 -

It's a 30 day (ish) program, led by Jillian Michaels. It's really 3 programs in one, since it has 3 levels. Each level increases in intensity. But the best part of the program is that a full workout that torches calories takes about 25 minutes!!! It's also tailorable to most exercises because she shows you how to do the move in a basic way, how to modify it to make it slightly easier, or how to modify it to make it harder. I do like it!0

I lost 6 lbs. doing it, but the toning was what was really impressive. My arms have a ton more definition now, and my quads aren't too bad either.0

I am on Level 2 now (althought I did do the elliptical today instead of the DVD) and OMG it's hard. The plank stuff kills me. I am not strong enough yet for that stuff.0

It's not for everyone. :P I have the video but I tried it, and not really enjoyed it much. But I just jumped back to Shaun T's Hip Hop Abs because it's very cardio, great workout with dance moves. I love dancing more :P0

I;ve just started it today. If you want to "try before you buy" the full Level 1 workout is online - and it is in English if you just wait for the vid to start playing :-) If that link doesn't work...google "Jillian Michaels 30 day shred Level 1" and you will find one that does :-)
