edited October 4 in Fitness and Exercise
3 weeks ago I thought I was in a rut with my training regime and decided to have a change and take up rowing. WOW it is so hard but the endorphin release is great and all those extra calories I have earned. This week on the Concept2 web site (rowing web site) they set challenges and with it being Hallowen they set a challenge to row 31000 metres between October 25-31 2011. In a period of 4 days I have acheived that challenge and it is great. I have found a new niche. So for those of you who want a change give it a try.

are you rowing out on the water or on a training machine?
  • I am rowing on the ergometer (Rowing Machine) in the gym. I suppose it would be a totally different experience of water.

There one at the gym, but I really need to figure out how to use it correctly first. I will be doing some research today. :)

I love the rower, working so many muscles at once.

The concept 2 website will also create a programme for you based on how much weight you want to lose and how often you can get to the gym.
