I hear if you lose 1lb of muscle it weighs more.
It's friday night and I'm trolling MFP.0 -

Hahaha....... love it! people just do not use their brains all the time. I get in this argument with people all the time. a pound weighs a freakin pound!0 -
Ugh it sounds like Biggest Loser in here... "oh boo hoo I ONLY lost 6 lbs this week" c'mon I'd do a lot to lose 6 lbs in a week, that'd put me back under 300 pounds!0

I have been on MFP since January and have lost 44 lbs. Sometimes a few pounds a week and sometimes it takes two weeks to lose a pound. Loving it whatever amount because that means I am getting healthier. What was funny to me back in the summer was I bought two large bags of cat food for our pets and realized when I got home and was lugging those two 16 lb bags into the house that at that time I'd lost 32 lbs. and it was the equivalent of those two hefty bags. Amazed myself!0

You're right...that's what I was coming to do- offer encourgement. One pound IS huge! If I consistantly lost one pound a week, I'd be very happy to be making progress, after all, we all gained it one pound at a time...gotta lose it the same way Best of luck to you all!0

Great point to keep in mind. This morning I realized I've lost 3 pounds this month, which is great for my weight but seems so little compared to some people, but looking at that picture.... I'll take three of those off my body anytime!0
