Hershey mini-Chocolate bars. My plan is to have none leftover by the end of the night... No temptation then

    Popular for TP... :(

Playdough or small toys / pencils would even be preferrable.

I remember going to a house once who handed out bags of chips-- like Sunchips, which are semi-healthier than many alternatives.

Hope you don't have any pumpkins laying around in the yard.

Candy, Halloween play dough, Halloween pencils and erasers. The kids seem to like those too. I have a couple kids come around each year that have told me they can't have candy so I try to have a little something for them too. Oh, and jello shots for the adults....
  • I'm just handing out the regular stuff...... i didn't see a point in going healthy, my house would probably get egged or something to the effect if i did and my kids would bring home all my favourites anyways. I don't deny myself chocolate, i just do it in moderation. the Halloween snack size candy i find is a great way to help curb my fixings.

better then the boxes of raisins we hated those as kids.

No one comes to our house so we won't have anything otherwise it will just be extra for my kids and they don't need it

Hey, at least you can log the exercise from cleaning the TP and eggs from your house.
  • We don't give anything...as soon as our dog hears or see's someone out on the porch he goes into protection mood. lol

Yum! I used to love it when I got alternative stuff when trick-or-treating as a kid. Raisins, oatmeal... bring it on! :P

I am handing out Crunch bars and Butterfingers. I am going to be giving the biggest handfuls out... don't want any leftover!

I've got a huge bowl of "get the hell out of my yard you damn kids, can't you see my porch light is off???" waiting for anyone brave enough to ring the doorbell.
  • Nothing.

My flatmate bought some chocolate mice from Tesco, tried one and said they were disgusting so threw them away. If anyone rings the bell tomorrow maybe I'll fish the packet out of the bin.

But I doubt anyone will ring, can't remember the last time someone came to my door for trick or treating. I think it's just in England we don't really care.

we threw out last years candy - we're taking the kids trick or treating a bit further away from our neighborhood this year, so we've got leftover candy from the weekend's halloween parties, if anyone come over while we're home

BUT the kids loved getting juice boxes and individual bags of microwave popcorn in their bags

I want to come trick or treat at your house. Don't mind me if I stop by more than once. ;)

Same here! We don'y get many kids other than the neighbors.... Seems like kids/parents are afriad to Trick or Treat door-to-door much anymore! :ohwell:

I tend to go out, it is becoming more popular in New Zealand and I hate it. We have a huge weight problem with some kids in South Auckland and really shouldn't encourage it.
