Where on I-70 are you? Week 2 [CLOSED GROUP]

Options
Welcome to week 2 of our challenge! As you can see, we're down to 17 participants, so way to go! Keep on running!
What are your goals for this week? Are you upping your miles or taking an easy week? When do you expect to reach the next checkpoint?
Personally, I may take an easy day this week. I'm totally shot after yesterday's run. Still, I should be in Indianapolis by Sunday :)

PA: miles 10-26. Checkpoint at mile 18 in Youngwood, PA.

OH: miles 28-50. Checkpoint at mile 35 in Columbus, OH.
IN: miles 50-65. Checkpoint at mile 58 in Indianapolis, IN.
IL: miles 65-80. Checkpoint at mile 72 in Altamont, IL.
MO: miles 80-105. Checkpoint at mile 93 in Columbia, MO.
KS: miles 105-147. Checkpoints at mile 120 in Topeka, KS and mile 135 in Salina, KS.
CO: miles 147-192. Checkpoints at mile 162 Denver, CO, and mile 180 in Glenwood Springs, CO.

    Nice work everyone!

Today is my OFF day. Well, off from working out :)

I have two 3-mile runs to do, one 6 mile interval/pace run, and next Sunday is 12 miles, which could be interesting because Saturday is my older daughter's (who is named Alexa, and we have an Alexa in our group here!) post soccer season pizza party. I've learned I have to eat very clean, yet pretty heavy, the day before a longer run. I also need to heavy lift at least twice.

    Bring on the week!

Take care of yourself. That's the most important thing :) Plus, walking a dog is awesome. My in-laws' dogs don't get walked and they just LOVE it when we come over and take them out.

Awesome running schedule! And yeah, the meal you have the night before makes a difference. If I have a crappy meal, I feel sluggish and flabby lol

    Hey cool people,

I'm recovering from being sick last week, so I will walk this week and hopefully be in PA by Friday.

Good luck everyone and enjoy your week!

Maybe? There's a local marathon in the spring that I would love to do but I'm studying to be a personal trainer so I think my time is about to be rather limited. Two kids and all their activities, husband who works full time plus extra, two dogs, part-time job...gotta be able to keep it all together! And, it's hard for me to keep weight on when I'm running so much so I have a weight in mind that I can't let myself get below; if I do get below I need to back off my mileage. BUT, in a perfect world, YES, marathon next year :)
