Would love some reviews on Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred or even mainly "6 week six-pack workout!" I'm thinking of ordering them today! I am looking to tone and figured this could be a great way to start!

Do any of these require weights or anything at home? I do have a gym membership but on my days off from the gym or when things get hectic and I can't make my way to the gym, I would love to try these workouts at home. I am at my goal weight and want to tone, hopefully lose a little more body fat but mainly.. tone up for that lean, nice, sexy look lol. I really want to work on my stomach and lower body area, and I figured this would help!! Any responses are appreciated - thanks!

I have been doing the 30DS for the past week and a half. It does require small hand weights. I also use my Yoga mat to lay on while doing the ab exercises. I really have liked this workout because it does make you get the heart rate up really nicely. I haven't tried the six-pack workout.

loved the 30DS though it got very repetitive. i completed the 30 days and was very happy! i also now incorporate it into my day if i don't have time to make it to the gym. only 20 min!! 6 week 6 pack i started doing after i finished the 30DS and again, it was fun for about 4 days. then i got bored with it. i'm of the mind that exercising should be fun, and if i'm dreading doing it (not out of laziness) then i shouldn't. i'd recommend 30DS and maybe borrow 6w6p for a couple days if you can.

I really can't answer about the 30DS or 6 week six pack, but i am familiar with 10 minute trainer from beachbody and Tony Horton, the man that created p90x if you're more familiar with that. I've used 10 minute trainer since May and have had great results in strength, toning and weight loss. Also, the only equipment you use are resistence bands that you can pretty much take with you anywhere. I can't say enough about the program itself, i just really am a big fan. That being said, i couldn't have done this all by myself, even with the 10 minute trainer that i keep going on and on about lol. I owe a lot of the success I've had to my fiance, the coaches at beachbody and all my friends here at mfp

I've been doing 6W6P on and off for about six weeks now, I really like it! I aim to do it three or four times a week, because I also run and bike and don't have unlimited workout time.
It calls for a small weight, but it's definitely not required. I didn't use it much in Level 1, but I do use it in Level 2. I just use a small 3lb weight.
Anyways, I really like it. I don't have a six-pack yet, but my waist has definitely gone down. I plan to keep doing the video at least through Thanksgiving.
Edit: After re-reading the responses, I agree that it can get a little repetitive - which is another reason I don't worry about doing it daily. Every other day works great for me. And for me, once I learn the moves (and know what's coming next), it seems to go pretty quick. On days when I really need a distraction, I'll turn on the radio just a little louder than the TV.

30 day shred is a greatttt workout if you're looking to tone!! You do need some hand weights. I also own the 6 week 6pack dvd and I did it once and didnt feel anything too much after. It wasnt THAT good of a workout and it was kind of long.

I got really toned up using 30ds. Loved it. lost 5lbs, but looked way more toned like I'd lost 10. I have 6-wk six pack but haven't done it long enough or frequent enough. It is a good ab work out though.
