Cottage cheese suggestions

Options
I recently discovered cottage cheese as a good high protein snack to replace my usual Greek yogurt. I didn't like it as a kid, but I tried it again a few weeks ago and found out that I love it. I've tried mixing it with some canned no-sugar-added fruit, but I'm looking for some variety. Any ideas from other cottage cheese lovers?

Thanks!
Karoline

I eat lots of tossed salads with chicken and I put it on the side of those, sometimes not even using salad dressing, as the cottage cheese(I use the fat free) acts like a dressing.

My favorite brand is actually the Great Value Brand from Walmart it is not sour tasting to me and I love the 0% milkfat the best!! My favorite way to eat it is with a couple of spoonfuls of crushed pineapple. So yummy!! :)

I love cottage cheese! My favorite way is with apple sauce and a little sliced almonds on top.

Also, with any salad! Top a salad with a vinaigrette and stir in cottage cheese.

Top the cottage cheese with salsa and serve on crackers. ...

Cottage cheese with the standard pineapple.
Cottage cheese with salt and pepper and nothing else...yum.
Cottage cheese on a baked potato.
In a wrap with lettuce and avocado
Mixed with tuna or chicken and spices as a filling for a wrap
Apple sauce with cinnamon, dip with celery
Chopped apple, raisins and curry powder
Top shredded lettuce and sprinkle with rice vinegar

I like it plain or sometimes I add it to my salad. One of my daughters likes it mixed with pineapple (cut in really small pieces and mixed in) in it and my other daughter likes to put it on reduced fat crackers. I have tried it both ways and I think they are both very good.
I have heard mixing jello or applesauce with it. I don't like it that way, but that is another suggestion.

These are a lot of great ideas!

And yeah, I have noticed the sodium content. I've adjusted by cutting out the hot sauce on my eggs on some mornings. It's worth it to get a little variety!
