They are wheeling in a Christmas tree here at work.

Meanwhile co-workers are still trying to tempt me with fresh halloween candy

Very funny!

Well, since I consideThanksgiving a holiday, I roll out the fall decor and pie dishes right about now. The Christmas tree goes up after Thanksgiving.

The day after Thanksgiving. All Christmas goes away New Year's Day - except the manger scene on the mantel. It stays until the Epiphany.

My household decorations go up whenever I feel like it. One year I had everything up the weekend before Thanksgiving, another year I didn't get my tree up until the weekend before Christmas and last year I didn't even put up the tree. With my Christmas clothing though, I always wait until the Friday after Thanksgiving before wearing it.

I find it so annoying when I see Christmas stuff before Halloween is even over. I don't do anything Christmas related until Thanksgiving is underway. No Christmas music, decorations, nothing until the turkey is eaten. lol

We always put our tree up on Thanksgiving  I start Christmas shopping October 1st.
  • Christmas music is allowed and encouraged around me from 12:01am day after Thanksgiving until 11:59pm December 25th :-) Decorations usually come out the weekend after Thanksgiving weekend (or roughly Dec. 1st).

I already have all of my Christmas stuff up!!!
LOL Just kidding. Probably 1st of December...maybe later. I don't decorate much but a live tree.

The outdoor lights go up soon - likely next weekend, however they do not get switched on until December. It's just too cold trying to manipulate lights outdoors in December up here in Canadia.

The first weekend in December we'll start to decorate. We make it a 2 week process. We like to make snowflakes and other decorations for the house.

The tree goes up 2 weeks before Christmas. I have too many kids and dogs for it to go up sooner. lol

I don't really celebrate Christmas anymore so I don't decorate for it.

    Dad?

My dad would, without fail, haul the tree out to the curb the morning of the 26th.

I like to spend Black Friday decorating the house, listening to holiday music and getting *kitten* faced on good whiskey. Thanksgiving weekend wouldn't be the same without this.

A lot of my outdoor lights are already up and just waiting to be turned on. My indoor stuff won't go up until the week after Thanksgiving.

Is there ANY better way to spend Black Friday? I think not.

I have my x-mas lights still up from last year cause they are a b*tch to put up... I don't light them until the week of Thanksgiving, same time I will decorate this year since we are spending x-mas away from home. My hubby wants to see the tree as much as he can without barging into Thanksgiving's holiday merriment!

I have very few decorations for this very reason. For Halloween I put out a black cat thing on the door, a scarecrow and a boo sign in a flower pot. All but the scarecrow came down when I turned off the lights on Halloween. A fall leaf wreath replaces the black cat door thingy and I am good to go until the first week of December. I'll then put Christmas wreaths on the door, and bay windows, a garland over the door and a decorated topiary next to the door. NO LIGHTS ON THE HOUSE! I hate lights on the house. Hate them!

We'll put up a tree the weekend before Christmas and we will take it down on New Years Eve or New Years day.

Black Friday - No stores, lots of decorations, holiday music, and schnapps.

It's going to be a challenge to figure out where to put a Yule tree in our itty bitty living room this year. It's been taken over by the elliptical and weights.

Dec. 1st. I like to give Thanksgiving its WHOLE MONTH.... lol. Its bad enough Christmas stuff is out in October now, makes me mad. And Christmas is my favorite holiday, but I just don't think it needs to hog 3 months of the year.
