Me: I will walk 500 hundred miles...
You: And I will walk 500 hundred more
To be the people that walked a thousand miles and now fit through the door!
DA DA DA. DA DA DA. DA DA DA. DA DA. BUM DEDEE BUM DEE DEE DA BUM!
The challenge is most for beginner exercisers and we will walk 500 miles in six months! That's about 3 miles a day which isn't too shabby and we already have three people who are game! Anyone else?

Good idea, count me in. A good pair of walking shoes is good for 400 miles.
When I used to swim everyday, we had a swim to Hawaii deal and I made it all the way.0 -

i finally figured out the ticker and picture... i must have had a bit of a brain failure yesterday! so... what date does our 6 months start on? also... just a suggestion. for extra inspiration, maybe we could do a before and after pic of the next 6 months each, or maybe progress pics? if people feel shy, we could wait until the end of the 500 miles and then post our pics to show the change. just taking the before pic might help improve our resolves to get walking to a fitter us?!0

i just took my before pictures very depressing. but, i was right, it has motivated me to walk even more miles than i had planned for today!0

I set the start date as November 5th! Remember, remember the the fifth of November! As the last day you were heavy! Haha. I'm being silly, you are all beautiful!
I love the pics idea! I'm doing the thirty day shred too so hopefully there will be a huge difference!
I ended up getting shin splints the other day! GAH so painful! I even get them down the sides of my legs/ankles so I'm having to ice them when I get done walking. Other than the occasional side cramp, I'm doing pretty good getting in a little over 3 miles a day. Yesterday I tried a different route and got chased down by a doberman! It was so scary! lol
For the ticker you enter your pin number (500), and you can just add the miles. For some reason the signatures aren't showing up anymore like they used to0 -
Should we just send you the miles weekly? How would you like to keep track?0

You guys could do that or you can track it yourself and we can do it monthly. It's harder now that we dont have tickers0
