whole wheat pasta

I just can't make myself like it. I've tried, I want to like it, but I don't. Doesn't matter if I put low calorie butter, spaghetti sauce, parmesan cheese.....it just leaves a yucky after taste in my mouth.
Anyone agree, or do you love it? Guess it's back to white pasta for me.

I just made some whole wheat angel hair spaghetti last night for the first time. I thought it had a slightly different taste, but nothing bad. Not a word from any of my 4 kids on it either, I don't think they noticed at all. My daughter even went for seconds.0

I totally agree with you . . . I hate it. I'd rather cut pasta out completely than eat the whole wheat stuff. It tastes like soggy cardboard to me.0

i'm with you on the whole wheat pasta and so is my whole family, they begged me NOt to make it again. LOL
I did find pasta that is "delicious white pasta with the fibre benefit of whole wheat" and they didn't even notice...lol0 -
Have you tried the Barilla Plus pasta with Omega 3s? To me it tastes much better than whole wheat, and it has a lot of health benefits:

I second Barilla Plus, it even looks like regular pasta.0

The angel hair whole wheat pasta is better, its thin enough to trick you thinking its white pasta0

I mix half regular and half whole wheat!@ Two pots but half better!!!0

I like it just fine, but I was going to suggest the Barilla kind. I don't remember if it's the one mentioned here, but I found a big box of Barilla whole grain at Costco (six small boxes in it). It looks like "white" pasta and tastes just fine.0

I love whole wheat pasta and get the Ralph's brand. I use thin spaghetti and lasagna. I also made a rotini dish once. My boys like it better than white pasta.0

I found a brand of organic 100% whole wheat pasta that I think tasts just like regular pasta. It's a darker color when it's dry. But after it's cooked, I think it looks like regular pasta too.
It's Luigi Vitelli Organic 100% Whole Wheat Pasta.
Here is a link to the website with a picture of it (the whole wheat is in the green packaging)

I've liked all the different whole wheat pastas I've tried. The rest of my family hates it though so maybe I'm just weird.0

I really like it as well as brown rice, what I do is add lots of italian seasoning and I think it comes out awesome.0
