Maple Crunch

Maple Crunch

2 c. slivered almonds
2 c. pipette seeds
1 1/4 c. sunflower seeds
1 c. sesame seeds, optional
100% pure maple syrup (enought to coat the mixture)
1 1/2 c. dried cherries, raisins, cran-raisins, or cranberries.
Pinch of Kosher salt to taste

Mix everything but dried fruit. Spread on a baking sheet to one inch thick & bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes, or until smells fragrant. Stir once in the middle of the roasting time to get even roasting. After it is removed and it cools a bit, add the dried fruit.

Keep cool and dry in airtight container for several weeks.

Besides a healthy, snack, it can also be rough chopped and used for toppings for cheese cake, ice cream, chocolates or even over yogurt!

I had to ask that same question! Someone told me they are just pumpkin seeds that have already been shelled.

Finally had a chance to make this today & get the nutritional values. I did have to adjust some things because I didn't have enough though.
